The hotel staff were very friendly. They helped me set up a tour to the castle. The room was spacious and very clean. It was very quiet and relaxing which was perfect for my my three day stay. The hotel is perfectly located with many restaurants and a specialty wine store close by which also had handmade chocolates. I was... More

Just meters away from the wonderful Chiemsee the Hotel Luitpold am See offers the perfect place to spend a short holiday. The staff is very friendly an keen to help you with everything. The rooms are relatively huge and are perfect to spend a quiet time after a walk at the lake. In Conclusion: I'm going to spend my next... More

We were well received as a group but scattered between two houses. The main house is nice and charming. The second house seems like an apartment building and not much ambiance. The hotel has rooms occupied by people recuperating and somehow affiliated with the next-door hospital. Lovely breakfast and restaurant. Right by the lake with easy access to ships, bikes,... More

Chiemsee was a dream place on our list for a very long time. This vacation was to be one of cities, but this was a welcome diversion. We made this as our stop between Vienna and Dresden! The hotel is located perfectly for what we did during the four days. Mr Wulf the GM has it all under control. Buffet... More

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and it was very nice. We had some difficulty finding the entrance, as part of the street has been set apart for pedestrians only, but once we found our way, we were fine. We stayed on the 2nd floor and had a room with a balcony - it overlooked the parking lot... More

This hotel is in the perfect location. The rooms were basic, but they were a clean place to sleep. There is not air conditioning, but depending on the time of year you more than likely do not need it! The rooms were big and the bathrooms were modern. The breakfast was very nice. The staff was incredibly helpful and offered... More

This hotel has the best location in Prien, directly on the lake and adjacent to the dock with ferries and boat rentals. This is a big hotel with a top-notch breakfast. Our room was small but nicely appointed with a very modern bathroom. The staff was superbly helpful. Highly recommended if you want to be right on the lake. To... More

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and had 4 dinners while there. Our room was ok it was a special room for people with allergies. Furniture was simple but nice and cosy, bathroom was small but had all the necessary things one needs for a short stay. We stayed on the ground floor which was fine for us, no... More

The other English reviews have it about right. The hotel is well situated by the ferry service and the "toy train" if you need the latter. So you can have breakfast and then head out for some island hopping on the lake. Breakfast was of a good quality in the cafe area although the over spill is into the restaurant... More

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 6 years and will certainly be doing so again. We find this area to be a very good location for Munich Airport. The staff are very helpful and always allocate us the same room which we find to be clean and well appointed. The outside restaurant overlooking the Lake is beautiful... More
