As always leaving home to work offshore is hard but this warm friendly hotel made things a lot easier before along trip offshore. Food was very nice and the room was very clean. If returning I would most definitely use this place again. Everyone spoke English as well

We stayed here six years ago and were very pleased to have the opportunity to stay again - this time for four nights. Nothing had changed - bright, clean decor, good-sized rooms with good bathrooms, excellent breakfasts. However, we understand that the owners are retiring this year so things may change.

Very nice hotel with an outstanding view to the harbor. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel during our road trip to the East German coast line, the rooms are spacious and equipped with all amenities, clean and neat. Just a short walk to the harbor with good restaurants there. The breakfast was good with lots of different things to... More

Breakfast is served from 7.30 am which was too late for us. They made a reduction of the price, nice. Unfortunately the room was rather boring and small. It was clean and quiet. A very quiet, clean B&B on the east coast of the island, centrally located for excursions to the the chalk cliffs, Kreide Küste. Sumptious breakfast, free Wi-fi and free parking. Come in April when the tourists are few but bring a hat, gloves and scarf. You must go to the harbor where there are many ship restaurants. Be sure and... More

Most people seem to use this hotel (guest house really) for one night before catching the ferry to Bornholm. This was our original intention but research showed that Rugen might be worth seeing so we booked for two - it should have been more! We were given a warm welcome on arrival - the owner spoke very good English. We... More

The hotel has a cosy family feel and we were given a warm welcome by the owner who spoke fairly good English. n.b It felt like we were the only brits in this part of Germany! Our room was a little dated but very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely traditional German balcony with flowers and a fabulous view... More

Our room, which was attractive, spacious and very clean, looked out over the harbor at Sassnitz, a spectacular view. We loved the breakfasts which were included. The proprietress was very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, but that didn't bother us. Very close to the harbor and an easy walk to the National Park. We loved the hotel and... More
