We actually wanted to find accomodation along the Mosel, but we only could find place in Bad Bertrich. The location seems to have many hotels, but most of them belong to the same owner. We booked at Park Hotel, but they gave us a room at the adjacent Classic Hotel. Probably better, because it seems more modern than the actual... More

Stayed here for my birthday and was kind of underwhelmed. It looks so beautiful from the outside but inside the rooms are very dated. Got spa treatments which were very good and were easy to reserve. Breakfast was included and it was wonderful.

We booked a room with balcony for one night at this hotel, from Sunday to Monday. When we arrived in the room, at first glance, everything seemed right. But gradually, we discovered it was not so good as it looked. Starting with the bath towel. I believe that when a couple book a room is quite obvious that they will... More

We were given a stay here in this sweet little town hidden away in the volcanic Eiffel area by our children as they wanted us to have a wellness weekend. The hotel is very central- we heard the Sunday morning concert in the Kursaal from our room and the fountain where the mineral water flows is also just across the... More

We stayed 5 nights on a trip to visit Rhine- and Mosel wineries. The town is well placed for Mosel, but a little too far from the Rhine. The staff is friendly, but somewhat untrained. The whole setup is a little "primitive" as if a new management has arrived, but not quite mastered the place? The rooms are good and... More

We stayed one night during a motorcycle trip in the area. Rooms are clean and exactly as shown on the website, no surprises there. The hotel is close to restaurants and café's but most of them close at 2100-2200 on a saturday night. ;( There is only paid parking available. The hotel clerk let us park our motorcycles in a... We booked the hotel via Travelbird. We had a nice stay, the price for the room via Travelbird was ok, when you book directly it is about 90 euro, which is to much for the quality you get. The rooms are ok, clean, but nothing special. For diner you can better find another place, the kitchen tries to stuff in... More

We booked this hotel because of the romantic photos on the website. How unpleasant was the surprise that our room was not in the old-style main building, but we were directed to a secondary cold looking hotel down the street, without any service whatsoever. To us this was not clear while booking our stay here. The rooms here were clean... More

We had a group of 40+ bikers stay at the hotel on a 5 day trip to the Eiffel Region. Great location in a quiet town, not much night life, Cochem is a short distance away and is a more touristy location but Park Hotel can deal with larger groups. Hotel was good (if a little disorganised at the beginning... More

This is a grand hotel, for elderly people normally, in the most beautiful, forested and undulating countryside.....with a plethora of twisty, well maintained roads, perfect for a bunch of Advanced Motorcyclists on a 5 day trip to The Nurburgring.... There were 44 of us on 40 motorbikes, admittedly the room sharing was not sorted out when we got there, but... More
