Stayed here many times, for an overnighter it is ok Service is not great, the bar might be closed for no reason, you can get (slow) service on the balcony Breakfast is classic german with a lot of items to choose for and in good quality The view to lake is awesome Rooms are ok, on the spartan side Wifi... Much has been said about the location and the building itself. Really is an ugly looking building tuked away behind a large hospital complex. The view out the other side is nice out to the lake. Had a nice size room in the main building so did not experiance the long walks. Room was ok, if rather dated. Pretty clean... More

This was the second time I had stayed here. I had a room in the 5th floor which was large, with everything you need, the bathroom was very modern and well laid out. The wifi was good, dinner was excellent, overall a good night's stay. I won't hesitate to come back here.

Really nice hotel with great rooms and wonderful location. But how can a big and nice hotel not have wifi in the 21st century?? It was impossible to do any work in the room, so I had to stay in the lobby. A good wifi connection must be a minimum service any modern day hotel should be able to offer!

We loved our room, the sunrise was stunning. We were spoiled in the Spa, loved the walk around the lake and enjoyed our booked Candlelight Dinner. The staff was very friendly. We loved it, we will be back soon.

Its a very nice hotel at the shore of a lake, nice view from rooms. Excellent staff, free wifi, quite place, an overall satisfied hotel with all required amnesties. The choices of dishes in the restaurants menu is very limited.

Stay here almost every week and service is declining Just had the smallest room ever despite having booked ages in advance. When asking nicely why reply is "we are full". In other words we don't care about our regular customers Waiters in the restaurant is slow as hell, not proactive and just does not care. If only there was other... More

Great hotel though rooms are hard to find. The wellness area is great but do not go there in the morning for all facilities are cold. Not until the afternoon are they fine. Lousy service in the cafe, one has to find water etc because the staff never shows up. Restaurant is good but arriving guests go through making an... More

I stay at this hotel very frequently and normally I would give it a three to four rating, but my recent visit was very disappointing. The bar was closed for a private function (this can happen) and it was announced to be reopened for guests at 21.00 hours, just in time to catch most of the CL football. Coming back... More

The Vitalia Seehotel is a very good hotel with an excellent view over the lake of Bad Segeberg. Located approx. one hour far from Hamburg airport and half an hour far from Luebeck, in a relaxing area with a lot of possibilities for outdoor activities. The hotel is split into 2 main buildings, connected over the restaurant and some meeting... More
