We took a family trip and this accommodation proved to be ideal. Comfortable apartment for 4 -5 people. There were three of us. The property offers daily cleaning of the apartment. Furthermore, breakfast was provided with traditional or continental dishes. We really appreciated the pasticciotti and the homemade donuts. There is a nice outdoor car park which is excellent for those of us who travel by car. The Owner is a kind and helpful person, like few nowadays. He gave us a lot of information on places to visit and recommended some excellent restaurants. The Castellana Caves are a short walk away. If I return to the area in the future I hope to stay here again. Thanks for everything!

The proximity to the Castellana Caves is outstanding. One can go on foot. The accomodation has all basic needs, towels , toiletries, ac and clean. It also has travel adaptor for the plugs in Italy and a small hair dryer.
The host is very reliable. He answers questions immediately and is readily available to offer advice.
Breakfast is varied with sweets, cereals, bread and fruit.
Good value for money

We stayed four nights in a fantastic room, we thank the staff for giving us the attention of a beautiful room. Qualified staff, trained in various languages. The environment was always super clean, warm and comfortable, the staff was always very kind, all of this made our stay unforgettable, I can't help but recommend this property. Thank you thank you thank you to all the staff, especially Giuseppe and Aldo.

The structure itself is not bad, the rooms are a bit spartan and the management is good. The location is very close to the caves and therefore you can easily go on foot. The breakfast is good and plentiful and is both sweet and savory. The mattresses of the beds need to be improved, and maybe a little less dust, because for those who are allergic (like me) it would be a good thing.

This place is ideal for visiting the caves but not much more to right home about. We arrived early and just wanted to drop our bags but the place was all locked up. Called the number on the gate but the owner does not speak good English and eventually sent someone round to let us in. Room was ok. Comfortable bed. No coat hangers in the wardrobe though. Breakfast was not at all appealing. Nothing covered up and had to keep asking the owner for different things that had run out. Choice of cereals, fruit juice, yoghurts and cakes. Ham and boiled eggs but no cheese and dry bread. We booked after reading reviews on another site. Afraid to say we would not stay here again.

Excellent structure for visiting the caves given the proximity to them. For the rest nothing special, all without infamy and without praise. The mattresses are terrible, old and not at all comfortable. Excellent internal parking which allows you to keep the car a stone's throw from the room.

We arrived early and thought perhaps I could just pick up our key as we wanted to get to the cave before the tour started at 11. One of the owners was cleaning a room. No English and not a warm welcome! He had to phone his brother then just handed me a key and kind of nodded at the room. He indicated the address of his pizzeria on one side of the key! No instructions about breakfast etc. We drove to where his restaurant was which was very difficult to find even with the GPS so decided that we didn't want to be doing that in the dark and went elsewhere! No shampoo or bar soap! Lucky I always have some in my cosmetic bag. In the morning we went into the breakfast room - coffee was good but no fruit just packaged cakes, yogurt and cereal. A couple of croissants that were not all that fresh. In the middle of breakfast my husband had to go back to the room for his phone and there was a guy in there cleaning! Next day when we checked out I had to ask for a receipt. Price is reasonable.

Rigugio delle Grotte had everything we needed as a family of 5 on a road trip to South Italy. There was nothing missing. Space, Piece, Equipment, Parking etc. Breakfast basic but delicious. Giuseppe was kind and helpful. Only notable thing was that beds and mattresses could be better as they were very simple. Nevertheless my headline says everything price per value was great and that eliminates any comment for small things that we think had space for improvement.
