I stayed here with my parents and it was one of the highlights of the trip! Santa Tecla is so beautiful and so close La Scala for fresh seafood. Amazing setting, good wifi, clean beds, comfy beds and a really welcoming host! The breakfast is delicious- we got to choose between 32 different flavours of.homemade jam from the garden. Superb,...

My husband and I stayed in this B&B for four nights. While this is a charming, clean and spacious room(pink room), it is a bit difficult to get to and from if you are touring areas like Etna and Siracusa because of the long windy road up and down the hill. It's perfect if you are staying local for awhile....

Santa Tecla is not on the list of 'must sees' but was a warm and welcoming spot to spend two nights after the hustle and bustle of sight seeing in big towns. The room at the B&B was large, clean and comfortably furnished. We were able to park outside -after negotiating the one way system in a small village! Graziella...

This is surely one of the best run, cleanest and best functioning B and B s in Sicily. Graziella is a magnificent hostess with a passion and talent for welcoming guests. This was our 3 rd trip in 6 years, and no trip to Sicily would be complete without a stay at this very special B and B. Graziella and...

We very much enjoyed our stay with Graziella in this b & b. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious and everything was done to make us feel at home. The village is quiet but Graziella explained where we could eat or get food to bring back to the house. We were encouraged to use the kitchen. Breakfast, with lovely...

We really couldn't have asked for a more friendly welcome. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, although not modernly decorated. We were given good information regarding access to Etna and a good recommendation for a restaurant in the village. It was nice to spend some quiet time away from the busier towns and cities. Breakfast really was very special,...

It's a nice place with a friendly and kind host. We were 6 persons and had a nice stay here. A good thing was the convenience that we were able to park the cars just outside the house. Graciela and here son was very helpful with tips on places to visit.

Graziella and Fabio were extremely welcoming. The b & b itself was very comfortable, well organised, and spacious. Finer details include small fresh flowers from their court yard on display in the bedrooms. The highlight is definitely breakfast, which includes a wide selection of fresh home made cakes, jams, coffee, fruit etc.... You are treated extremely well and Graziella is...

Our group of two families (four adults and six kids) stayed at B&B Acireale Mare for one night after a day at Etnaland and before driving to Messina. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. The welcome from Graziella and Fabio was very warm and they gave us lots of useful information in relation to the village and...

The kindness and warmth of Ms. Graziella and her lovely son, Fabio, is apparent immediately upon arrival. She welcomed us with warm hugs and friendly courtesy. The B&B accomodations were clean and comfortable and her breakfast was delicious with nice pastries, toast and her famous homemade jams. Fabio was incredibly helpful in giving us directions to and from sights in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The B&B "Acireale Mare" in Santa Tecla welcomes you through the whole year. You can choose among one of our rooms, all wide and provided with air conditioning, TV LCD, Wi-Fi internet connection and private toilet with shower. The rooms are furnished in very good taste, with the right mix of comfort and tradition. The building, of the early '900s, is completely restored and maintains clear elements which recall the local tradition. The liberty style of furniture, the smooth pastel colours, wood, lavic stone and terracotta together create a smart and refined environment, though sober, in line with the soul of Sicilian tradition. All the rooms have independent access to the kitchen/dining room, fully equipped, where breakfast is served. Homemade granite of any taste and the cakes prepared by Graziella, the fresh season fruit grown by Angelo in his own orchards located nearby, will let you start every new day with local tastes and flavours. The B&B is only 50 metres far from the sea, surrounded by the green of lemon orchards and immersed in the calm and simplicity of one of the most beautiful eastern-Sicilian maritime villages. ... more   less
