A well run, nicely appointed hotel with comfortable rooms, good breakfast and a block from a 1/2 dozen restaurants serving mainly fresh seafood on the active water front. A nice promenade is toward the back of the hotel. A good value and very pleasant stop,...More

We booked 4 nights at this hotel and since they did not have any more rooms in the main house (we needed 2 rooms) they offered us 2 rooms, sea views and we took them unseen. Well, when we got there late in the evening,...More

Great hotel away from the hustle and bustle. 1 minutes to see front fishing village with numerous restaurants. You will need a car for easy movement. Staff excellent and very helpful. Location is great for quiet break. If mobile you easily get to most locations

It would appear that most of the previous negative reviews of this hotel are factually correct. The hotel (main building) is run down from the outside with withered plants at the front and broken tiles in the car park. On entering from the street, down...More

As some others have mentioned, I also stayed in an off-site flat. Several things about this: 1) is is directly on the old harbor so you can hear the waves coming in at night. 2) There was no internet access in this location, although the...More

About
Description
Historical House According to historian Diodorus Sicilian originally was built by the Greeks in VII BC and used as a spa fed by sulphurous waters from the Etna volcano. Later, the Romans turned it first into ...More Mill and then in Tannery. And it is this building used as a mill that gave birth to the streets of the Mills which continued until the slopes of Etna, and gave his name to the picturesque village of Capomulini. Now after a careful renovation was born the Hotel Capomulini. Located in the Bay of Capomulini small fraction of Acireale, a town rich in art with its 100 bell towers of strict baroque style and also known for the most beautiful carnival of Sicily, offers the opportunity to choose, in all periods of the year , moments of refinement, where the stacks of Acitrezza Homeric and lush Timpa of Acireale are the frame. The Hotel Capomulini has 12 rooms spread in two floors of the main building, 7 rooms on the first floor and 5 lofts on the second floor. A short distance from the main building, the hotel has 6 other rooms: 4 bedrooms and 2 apartments overlooking the beautiful seafront Capomulini. All rooms are exquisitely furnished and equipped with all the amenities: air conditioning, tv TV, mini bar, hairdryer, telephone, free wifi. Spacious and comfortable, hark back to the style of the historic building, vaulted, stone walls, ceilings with wooden beams, rustic furniture and warm colors in typical local style. On the cliff the waterfront during the summer season begins with a sun that day is equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas and the evening turns into a charming and romantic piano bar to spend unforgettable and romantic musical evenings with spectacular views of the sea and the stars. The hotel is equipped with a multi-purpose conference room for meetings, with the audience or meeting table, equipped with modern multimedia and internet connection. You can set up the buffet and coffee- break. Take advantage of the opportunity to explore the wonderful coastline with caves, thanks to sailing trips organized by the hotel, or join a fascinating guided tour of Mount Etna. Less
