The couple who run the B&B are very nice. We were collected from the train station - for free - just as well as up several steep roads and otherwise hard to find. The owners don't speak English and we only had a little Italian/Sicilian. The breakfast was wonderful, a real spread with lots of homemade little pastries etc and... More

B&B Montandon was not the only historic home-turned-inn we stayed at during our vacation, but it was probably the most memorable: right from the grand entrance to the jaw-dropping breakfast spread (much of it made at home, and from fruits grown in the beautiful garden we could see from the breakfast room) to the super-sweet host (who promptly handed us... We absolutely loved our stay at B&B Montandon. Although the owner did not speak any English, she was always very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is set ready for you when you wake - overlooking the beautiful orchard in the backyard. We were able to do our washing here free of charge, the owner even dried and folded our clothes... More

We made a reservation for this b&b, but when we arrived, the b&b said they didn't have any room left. Do not trust your reservation by this b&b! The location seems to be nice. We took another b&b nearby.

We had a lovely big room and it was very clean. An added advantage was a full size fridge in the room. The towels were changed daily and the sheets once during our six day stay. The bed was hard and the shower cubicle small but this did not spoil our stay. The breakfasts were lovely, every day something homemade, small... More

A stunning baroque building very much in line with Noto's style with a very special breakfast area in the balcony with great view. We were offered access to their beautiful orchard were kids could pick their own citrus fruits right from trees. Perfect location - we had no trouble finding a parking space yet it was still within short walking... More

This B&B has some things going for it, especially the location close to the centre of Noto on the top floor of a grand old building in the old town. However the interior is definitely not going to appeal to everyone - it has a cramped feel and is cluttered with oddments and bric-a-brac. The bathrooms are a little rundown... More

Stayed one night in this lovely B&B in Sept 2012. The room (a triple) was big and comfortable and the service excellent. Special mention to the fantastic breakfast. The B&B is walking distance to Noto's main attractions. Note there are a lot of stairs and no elevator.

The building is curently undergoing renovations but when finished should be returned to it's former glory. The room had no view but the room was clean and comfortable and the bed firm but good. The breakfast room had a great view and we were given a welcoming drink. The bathroom was tired but clean. Breakfast was amazing with a huge... More

We are left wondering what part of the word "gem" we did not understand. Our bedroom was totally filled with all kinds of stuff -not in a charming way but in a ridiculous manner. The promised balcony looked onto a 6ft. high brick wall -all round so the only view was of the sky. The beds were ROCK hard making... More
