I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Hotel di sor Paolo - they made our trip truly special. We visited the local area for a friend's wedding and are so pleased we chose to stay at the Hotel. They staff could not do enough for us and we felt part of their family as soon as we arrived.... More

While we were in the planning stages of our vacation a friend mentioned this hotel to us as he had stopped there to have dinner with his family in the adjoining restaurant. We decided to give it a try based on his excellent review of the restaurant and his kind words regarding Paolo, the owner. We arrived in mid June... More

We just returned home from a 7 nights stay at the Hotel di Sor Paolo. We had a great and relaxing time. The hotel is a small property, well looked after and quite authentic Tuscany-stye. The owners and staff are all really nice and welcoming. We spend a few lazy days just by the pool reading and dipping into the... More

We needed a hotel reasonably close to the airport after a late arrival before we drove to Montepulciano the next day and this came up. A very pleasant guy welcomed us - the owner, I think and showed us to our room. The most surprising thing was that our bath was in the room and was large and made of... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and were made to feel so welcome by Paolo and his wife, they were so helpful and always had good suggestions as to places we should go. The room we had was very large and the shower was amazing (we loved listening to the radio!). We tried the wine relaxation therapy in the special... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel di sor Paolo. The room was large, clean and thoughtfully appointed. Perfect for a couple travelling with a baby. We especially enjoyed the large bathroom with the modern shower and sauna. The owners were helpful and very pleasant. The countryside and pool were wonderfully and classically Italian. The restaurant attached to the... More

I really appreciate the welcome of Sor Paolo, so truly "Toscano" in his special way. The location is super nice very closed to Florence, Siena and the Chianti region. The room was quite nice a part some boring noise coming from the restroom. The breakfast is the typical continental breakfast good but a bit small. I would reccomend to add... More

Stayed 3 nights while visiting Tuscany and Florence. As other mentioned, owners speak little English but are very friendly and helping. Hotel is situated in the hills (bottom of hills though - so no far reaching view) Facility is quite new. Large rooms, clean, very modern and large bathroom (incredible shower !). Nice breakfast -bread, (strong !) cheese, prosciutto, yogurt,... More

Stayed one night on our way from pisa to umbria. The location is very beautiful nestled in between the hills with forest all around. Two travel cots in the room as requested, and an enormous room with a lovely bathroom attached. The property itself is an old italian mansion with a swimming pool in a small garden. The owner, an... We stayed here for two nights as part of our Italian honeymoon. We are on a three week tour so have stayed in many different types of Italian accomodation from Venice to Naples. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and quirky. Although Paolo doesn't speak English he gives it a go and his receptionist/waitress/girl Friday speaks very good English. They... More
