We had the most wonderful few days at Villa il Poggiale. The rooms are wonderful, the food was fantastic, and the service was wonderful. My husband and I are already planning to go back for a future anniversary. We were doing Italy by train, so we didn't have a car... this does make things a bit difficult because the Villa...

My husband and I absolutely loved this beautiful villa. Built in the 1400's, the owners have kept its charm and romance. The rooms were impeccably decorated, clean, and comfortable. The view from room #20 was breathtaking - overlooking the Tuscany hillside, offering a specatular sunset. The pool was nice and the grounds had many opportunities for sitting outside and enjoying...

They are warm and welcoming, and it is just as pretty as you expect. The room was stunning, they provided strawberries and champagne for our arrival as it was our honeymoon. They are there to help if you need assistance, where to eat or visit etc. You must really take up the offer of their dinners prepared by Jeffrey -...

This is a great villa. The view is gorgeous. The staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are quaint and have a very comfortable and homey feel to them. The villa is located about 25 minutes outside of Florence. The villa is very quiet. And, I found it really nice to return here after sightseeing in Florence all day....

We stayed at the Villa Poggiale for 3 nights in June 2007 after a week’s stay at the Monte Solare in Umbria before driving back to Rome to catch our flight home. Comfortable and friendly is how I would describe it. The staff who met us on our arrival were very friendly. Although we had booked a superior room we...

We arrived at Villa il Poggiale late last spring. The location exceeded our expectations. Villa il Poggiale exceeded our dreams. Parking under an olive tree was a new experience, but what else should you expect in Tuscany? The gate, the drive, the lawn, the flowers...Tuscany. It is a mix of old and new. You can feel the presence of history...

We loved our stay at this Villa. We were there for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have found a better value for what we paid. The property was so charming. First, you park in an olive grove. When you check in, you are given keys for the gate, for the home and your room. The ceilings are frescoed. There are...
