The Surf Camp is situated in a two story house directly opposite Foz do Lizandro beach. With the beach only stones throw away there is no excuse to not to spend the entire day on the sand, lying around, swimming in the sea, playing beach volleyball, football or other things and of course surfing. Whether you are a beginner or you surfed since you were 6, Ericeira is one of the most consistent summer surf destinations in Europe. With beautiful beach breaks for beginners as well as Portugal´s hollowest point breaks and reefs - there is something for everyone and all within a 10 minutes drive.

This is my second stay at Rapture camp as a solo traveler. Both times a left woth a lot of new friends and great experiences. The accommodation offers everything you need. Common areas to hang out with, rooms to have some quiet me-time, it's close to the beach, it's rather close to the town and easily accessible by bike. Fpr everybody doubting of they should book that solo/ friend/ couple stay, no matter of you are an intro or extrovert, book that stay! :)

I don't think I could rate this place more highly if I tried. Everything was absolutely incredible. I met some of the most amazing people from all over the world here, whom I am still in contact with. The location was pretty phenomenal (close to the beach and has amazing sunsets)- Note that it isn't that close to town - but it feels like paradise). The surf lessons were truly great! Most surf classes I have taken have been too rudimentary for my skill level, but the lessons here pushed me just the right amount! I can not say better things about this place! I loved it so much that I ended up booking additional nights.

I visited the Rapturecamp in Ericeira this August as a (female) solo traveller and had the best 10 days of my life there! During my stay there were about 50 other people in the camp and since many of them came on their own as well, it was super easy to get in contact with everyone. Before my visit, I was a bit worried about being the youngest at the camp as a 19 year old, but even though most of the other people were in their mid 20s, the age gap wasn‘t a problem at all, so that‘s not something one should worry about! The staff of the camp was just as nice as the other guests and added a lot to familial atmosphere, while arranging evening activities like a movie night, music quiz or preparing the most delicious food -I‘m still dreaming about the homemade bread and you shouldn’t miss the Saturday barbecue! The accommodation of the camp was super nice as well, the beds cozy and the bathrooms always clean! Besides the dorms, there were plenty of places to relax within the camp, including two big chillout areas where you could hangout before or after surfing. For the surf lessons the camp collaborated with one of the local surf schools, whose instructors were very nice and kept everyone safe while celebrating every success with us which kept the mood always up, even when the conditions were a bit rougher. As a complete beginner, all of my surf lessons were held at the beach to which you could walk down from the camp in just a couple minutes, which was perfect if you wanted to come back to the beach later in the day. This visit was definitely not my last stay at the Rapturecamp and I hope I can come back next year!…

One of the best places in Portugal for solo travelers! Location is great for beginner to intermediate-level surfers as well and Ericeira is a walking distance from the camp. There're lots or activities that are provided and included in the total price as well so totally worth it!

Perfect location right by the sea, you can see the waves from the room. Food is very varied and always very healthy from breakfast to dinner. In addition to surfing, numerous other activities are offered. The staff is always ready to ensure you have a perfect stay. I am here for the third time and definitely not for the last time. It feels like coming home.

Five out of five. Good vibes, good people, good food. Easy going and many activities besides surfing, too. Two surfspots just right there. Literally 5mins walk and you'll be ready to catch a wave. Definitely a recommendation from my side. 🤙

Truly amazing atmosphere, great staff and lovely house. Everything is just (very) well organised, structured and clean. The food is good, the people are friendly and the prices reasonable. They even helped me out parking my motorcycle. They breathe hospitality. I would definitely recommend.

I have stayed at Rapture multiple times now and I can highly recommend it! The staff is so lovely and really tries to make sure that you have the best experience! The surf lessons I have had here are the best I have had. Every surf teacher is extremely helpful and you progress very fast! Don't be afraid to travel solo, it is super easy to meet new people and make friends. The facilities, location (2 min walk to the beach) and food are great too! All around an amazing camp! I will definitely be back!

This camp was the complete package. From picking me up from the bus terminal, they got me situated so fast and it was such a chill social vibe with everyone being so warm and open! The food was delicious! The surf lessons were very well directed to your level and it was so much fun to head out multiple times during the day with other camp people to practice technique. The staff accommodated the guests well arranging transport into town, organizing movie or games night, etc. All in all I had a lovely experience

I spent five days with my partner over the Easter holidays at this lovely place. It is located outside Ericeira town at Foz do Lizandro, which is a large and less crowded beach compared to the ones in the town. The house had a great terrace for yoga and is located at a river where you can kayak for free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
