We booked Elba premium suites via secret escapes for a last min break for 5 days. The accommodation is individual villas and is exactly as the photos promise, clean, modern roomy. A large double bed (only one pillow but you can request an additional which was delivered to the room). The bathroom has a lovely walk in shower always hot water and there were complimentary tea, coffee, water and toiletries. The room also has a TV with UK channels BBC 1 etc. The pool and garden areas are really well maintained and there seemed to be a plethora of activities to join in with depending what you fancied. We stayed in the adults only area but just by accident we were not worried if we were in with kids. The pool area for adults only is quite small so in busy times that might be something to consider. With adults only came entrance to the premium buffet which was good in the evenings as it was slightly less manic than the main restaurant but really it was the same food! Drinks are included with all inclusive but not all cocktails spirits best to check if this is a big thing for you. The maid service was excellent and unobtrusive, in fact all the staff were lovely and friendly. I used the spa for a relaxing massage and got 10% off which was a welcome treat and can recommend that. The beach is a good 15 min walk away but it's nice when you get there Playa Flamingo. I rarely go to the same place twice but I would consider returning here for a short break.

We were on a 10 night all inclusive break with Jet2 in the Adults only Premium suites.
The room was modern and nicely fitted out, all rooms seemed to be in blocks of four units, good outside space with seating and sun loungers which we didn’t actually use. One thing that really annoys me when I have paid nearly £2200 for a holiday is being charged €4 per night for a room safe that is in the room anyway, it really is ridiculous, what next start charging to use the refrigerator.I could buy the whole safe for the €40 it would have cost me.Needless to say I didn’t use it on a point of principle.
The adult pool was very nice with really comfortable sun beds with mattresses all sat on good quality artificial grass. The bar area was also nice with decent food at lunchtime if you didn’t want to go to the main restaurant.
We always used the adults only restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want and couldn’t be faulted. Dinner was quite good but missed the mark a bit on quality of vegetables, there was always a roast or other fried meat and fish but some of the other dishes being kept warm in serving dishes lacked presentation and clear labelling. They just didn’t look very tempting although my wife tried a bit of a beef stew dish which she said was delicious ( I didn’t have it because I didn’t like the look of it). The serving staff could really have done with more help, one evening there were only two girls serving drinks and clearing approximately 45 tables, they were always very pleasant but I really felt a bit sorry for them. The white wine included with the all inclusive was passable but probably could have been better if another Euro or so had been spent on it. The red wasn’t too bad at all and the beer was also good.
The whole place felt a little deserted which wasn’t helped by the fact that approximately one half of the main pool was empty and having the walls and floor refurbished. There were barriers around the pool and workmen were using grinders for most of the day. It didn’t really affect us because we always went to the adult pool.
The location of the hotel was a decent walk away from the front and we did this three times while we were there.
We had a complimentary one day pass to the spa which was nice on a poor weather day
Overall we enjoyed our stay but I am not sure if we would return

We have just returned from the Elba Premium Suites, it was our first visit and certainly will not be our last. We went Half Board and were pleasantly surprised at the wine prices 9 Euro for a very drinkable bottle of house wine, all colours or 2.50 for a large glass. Water and soft drinks were 2.30 which we thought a bit expensive so we stuck with the wine!
The food was exceptional, we’ve stayed in many 4* in Europe and beyond and this was the best we’ve ever had. The fresh honeycomb at breakfast and the liquidised juices were great, not the watered down rubbish you usually get. Gustavo cooked the best omelettes! The evening meal with the carvery and the different themed displays were great. The themed display should have been advertised outside the restaurant, a lot of people didn’t seem to know they were there.
The staff worked very hard and always with a smile, our waitress was Dayana, thank you for a great service.
It was my husband’s birthday whilst we were there and Miriam organised a bottle of Cava in the room which was a lovely touch and we had a great meal in the A La Carte Restaurant Nonna.
Our room was delightful, and the BBC and ITV channels greatly appreciated so we could watch the Six Nations Rugby!
We used the Spa one day and it was very relaxing and I had a superb sports massage by Angelina.
The adult lounge was brilliant and most nights there was live music, the entertainment in the main theatre was good and varied and the magic show was brilliant.
The only criticism was the 4 Euro a night charge for the safe, this was totally unacceptable when you pay extra for the Premium Suites, needless to say we didn’t bother!

Booked this trip for myself, wife and som aged 23 months. It was booked last minute through TUI at a cost of £1000 each.

In no way is this hotel 4 stars.

When we arrived two coaches turned up at the same time meaning we waited nearly an hour to be checked in. Once checked in, no help with cases so had to make our own way to the apartment with them. Only one lift so there was a que for that also.

Room was ok, we opted for the comfort suite but theres not much comfort about it. Boasts about having a nespresso machine but what they dont tell you is once you use the first 4 pods, you must pay for any extra. Bottled water is literally a bottle of water snd it wasn’t even put into the fridge for you. Room was cleaned every day but bed sheets did not get changed for a full 7 days.

Overall resort is clean and tidy and pools are nice. Sun beds where plentiful and never really struggled to get one until the end of the holiday.

During the day there is only one bar open, this resulted in lengthy ques across the pool.

Entertainment was poor especially during the day at the poolside.

The worst bit for us was the all inclusive. The word all means all however the hotel dont think this and alot of your drinks you had to pay for. I asked for a hieniken beer on the first day and was told it was not free and had to pay so had to opt for the local wee.

The food was absolutely horrendous. Its almost like they where feeding you the odds out the freezer. Again lengthy ques whilst waiting for food. We decided on day 3 we where going to eat out every night and that was the best decision we made. Food in the local town was amazing.

In terms of COVID id have to say fair play. Masks. Where religiously enforced, of an evening around 9pm an employee goes
Round sanitising the sun beds. You had to clean your hands before dinnwr and wear gloves when getting food.

Would not return and was definitely not worth the money we paid. More like a 2 star hotel.

The hotel is no where near ready to be open to full capacity.

I was lucky enough to book this at the last minute as part of a package; as I was travelling on my own, I was unsure if I should book a Prestige Suite and for 7 or 10 days and/or half board or even all-inclusive.

I went "all in" and have not regretted it for a single minute or begrudged a single Euro committed upfront. 10 days spanning November and early December flew by.

Simply loved it. The staff from first arrival (thank you Nadjirou and the team) thru to the Animation staff to the top teams in El Mirador and Los Jameos adults area, all brilliant.

The food for a mainly buffet service in El Mirador plentiful, imaginative and varied. nothing too much trouble and always with a smile.

Watching the Maintenance team every day washing down and sanitising the pool area and (plentiful) sun loungers gave additional comfort and peace of mind.

I'm lucky en ought to have stayed in other hotels in the Canaries and some fantastic hotels around the world - some of which are not serving of their status.

This one is.

If I travel this way again I will stay here to the exclusion of other hotels on Lanzarote and I have enrolled for the Elba Fidelity Club to ensure I use the wider group again.

Well done to all, in these weird and difficult times you have excelled.

We took a 5 night trip to Lanzarote and stayed at Elba suites (family of 5). We were very impressed with the location (10 min walk to town) as well as the cleanliness of the modern, spacious rooms. The food quality was extremely poor, we were told that the hotel was only 1/4 full and I think the problem was they were cooking like it was height of season, so lots of food was left out under hot lamps for hours causing it to become dry and often inedible. We found if we went as soon as it opened then food was of a better standard and fresher.

The evening entertainment can only be described as diabolical. Absolute shambles and often rather embarrassing and cringey. After the 2nd night we walked out halfway through the entertainment and never returned!! Another big disappointment was the refurbishment taking place. We totally understood it needs to be done and understand it’s best to do it at their quietist time- however we were given no pre warning from Elba suites and it was quite disturbing when trying to relax by the pool. It would have been nice to be given the heads up before hand. Other guests that booked via a package holiday were even offered a different hotel because of the refurb.

The staff are fantastic, from the anamation team to the waiters and bar staff. The spa is immaculate with great facilities and again the staff their are lovely.

Overall we had a great holiday, however just felt let down by the food, entertainment and refurb. But we can imagine it’s alot better during the height of season.

I thought I had reviewed this hotel earlier so doing this from memory. We stayed at the Adult area Premium Suites in April 2019. I think some of the reviews posted have been for the Elba Royal village and not Premium Suites so just do your research as to your requirements. We had a lovely bungalow in the adult only area. It was perfect with it's own garden area which had loungers, table chairs and sofa. The room was close to the adult pool and snack bar. The staff here were really lovely. We had breakfast and evening meals in the premium restaurant which was also lovely. We especially enjoyed the entertainment in this area in the evening and it was much more relaxed than the area downstairs. I thought the pool bar in the Royal village area was very busy when we were there and was glad we had booked the adult only area. Someone mentioned that children were in the adult pool. This happened when we were there also and it was funny watching everyone tutting and pointing. The gate which was opened using the room key was quite often left open. I also thought the premium bar area should be accessed using the room key as we watched a family entering and being embarassed when they were turned away. Also we witnessed people who were AI getting drinks for friends who were half board. Quite a few people also got free upgrades so if you don't mind where you stay just book the Royal village and you could get an upgrade. I would return in the future.

Accomodation was very nice and very clean. Each suite has its own garden area with chairs and sun loungers. Bed was very comfortable and room had efficient air con.

Location is a long walk by a busy road to get to the front. The hotel provides a shuttle to the beach area but times are only 3 outgoing in the morning and 3 returns in the afternoon. So if you are full board don't expect to get back for lunch! Also, if you want to go the Rubicon area it is still a fairly long walk although very attractive.

The Adult restaurant has a nice outdoor area with some heaters. There is always quite a wide choice of food with some choices cooked to order. Food quality is a bit variable and vegetables don't always look that appetising. Bread and cheeses were always good as was the fish. However, the restaurant is let down by the lack of staff and organisation. Everything is serve yourself including tea and coffee (from machines). Cups, saucers, tea pots, spoons are often in short supply and hard to find. Tables were not laid up consistently with cutlery which resulted in dinners pinching items from other tables! Cups, plates and glasses were sometimes dirty as was the floor outside. Getting a drink order could also be a challenge!

The swimming pools are very nice with good quality chairs. The main pool has lots for children. The adult pool has a very nice bar area but if not full board expect to pay double the price of local restaurants' for food and drinks e.g. water was 2.3 Euros a small bottle.

The safe if you wish to use it is another 4 Euros a day, very annoying... Check the final bill as ours was a work of fiction, missing some items but adding plenty of others we hadn't had!

We have just returned from a week here and were impressed by most things. We couldnt believe how quiet it was though thinking that as restrictions had been lifted it would be busy. I reckon it was about 10-15% occupancy only and so can only comment on things as we fond them. Clearly check in was speedy as we were the only couple checking in. We soon found our room which was in the Adults only section. The rooms are in small one story blocks each of 4 suites. The decoration was great, with a seperate bedroom and a pull out bed in the lounge. There are 2 flat screen TVs (one in the bedroom) and for the first time ever in a foreign hotel we had access to the 4 main uk channels live. A real bonus. The bathroom was a good size with large shower cubicle and a twin headed shower inc rainforest head. W e never had a shortage of hot water and pressure is good. The one complaint is that the toiletries ,ie shower gel were never replaced during our stay. The adults only section includes a private 25m pool and relaxation area which is great when it was so quiet. There is the Los Jameos snack bar which serves amazing food in the afternoon all freshly prepared and is by a long way the best food on the complex. It was run by the lovely Ana Paula during our stay who has a habit of making you eat and drink more than you intend to! Food in other areas was typical of any other 4 and 5 star package hotels we have been to. Plenty of choice, some of it quite odd but always plenty of it. Our package included one a la carte dinner which we opted for the italian. This was a disappointment. The deal according to the menu includes a bottle of wine but we were served half a glass when we ordered the food and were never asked if we wanted any other dring during the entire meal. Service was mediocre and the food although different from the other places was certainly not worth the 30 euros per person it costs . Entertainment on the whole was good with a variety of mainly singers/musicians most nights. Unfortunately for some of them in the upstairs bar they were performing to audiences of 2 people sometimes due to the low numbers of guests but well done to the hotel for still putting on a full entertainment package. Wifi is excellent and is across the whole site. The hotel itself is a 20 minute walk to Playa Blanca and there is a new cycle path/promenade right next door and takes you straight into the town missing out any taffic. Playa Flaming is the best beach to visit.

Is there a dress code? I know some hotels prefer trousers and not shorts for evening meal.

The spa downstairs has towels you can use. Just leave a ten euro deposit per towel. Change it as often as you like . Get the euros back when you hand the towel back
