The ELBA LANZAROTE ROYAL VILLAGE RESORT, located on the magical island of Lanzarote, a Biosphere Reserve, is a complete holiday complex inspired by the culture of the Canary Islands, reflected in its architecture of a typical Lanzarote village town, with its painted shiny white walls adorned with volcanic rock, cobbled streets, lampposts and traditional garden benches which are harmoniously brought together within a stunning oasis of subtropical gardens, pools and fountains. The most easterly of the Canary Islands, it is recognized for its large number of volcanoes which stretch across the island. Submarine and lunar landscapes, clear waters, dry earth and palm tree oasis. It is a symbol of the harmony between man and nature. Without doubt a land of contrasts. Playa Dorada, one of the best beaches of Playa Blanca is only 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Awful to none-existent cleanliness as all the cleaner did was make our bed. They didn't change the bedding or towels, never picked dirty towels off the floor, or take rubbish. Also, the walkway to the rooms were filthy. Even a sweep would suffice but must of been too much effort for them. Food was hit and miss with cockroaches running across the dining room. Tea bags were disgusting - tasted like a used ash tray. Got overcharged at the bar 1 day. I paid 3 euro for 2 small beers 1 day but following day 6 euros??? Mojito demonstration was good also cheese & wine pairing demo. Pools are freezing. Definitely not a 5 star, more like 3 star.

My hubby and I came here for a last minute surprise for our friends 50th Birthday. When we arrived my hubby and I were given a glass each of Champagne. First impressions were WOW. The place was stunning from the time we walked into the hotel to the time we left. The food was amazing with plenty of choice. No complaints from any of us. The rooms were beautiful modern clean. The pools were also awesome. One side was a salt water pool with the other side a chlorine pool. The kids waterslide was lovely and we had 1 little girl aged 5 in our party and she loved the slide. There is absolutely nothing bad I have to say about this venue. I would actually give it 5 stars. So thanks to all staff whom made our stay memorable to the point we would defiantly return.

This is our 2nd visit to Elba & this is my 2nd review as it was even better than the first time! We were here with our 4 year old daughter, all inclusive for a week! Room was lovely, clean & modern. We love that everything is on the ground floor so there is no climbing up and down stairs or waiting on lifts. There are numerous pools & lots of sun loungers, all very clean. The food is quite repetitive but that’s always expected from all inclusive. What we do love is that it is fresh and most of the time hot when we got the food. We did eat out for dinner every night as we also love the playa Blanca sea front and marina, we would have happily stayed in for all our meals though we just like to try different restaurants. Without a doubt if you are travelling with children the win for me at this hotel are the entertainment team. Every single member is amazing! They are so caring & patient with the children and they work incredibly hard. Daniel was here when we were last at Elba and our daughter adored him, he is still just as amazing 2 years later! But every member Laura, Costa, Lulu, Selina & Jenny are the most amazing, energetic, caring people to be around your children! I have no idea where they get the energy to work such long shifts and still have a smile on their faces! They are 100% a credit to this hotel! While I was here I spoke with numerous people who have visited this hotel over and over again as they absolutely love it & can’t fault it, it isn’t only us! I don’t have one bad thing to say about my stay! The only bad thing is that we have to leave and head back home! We will 100% be back! Thank you for the best time allowing us to make memories Elba!

This was our 11th visit to the elba premium suites,we have stayed on the family side also and found it equally as good. obviously staying without children we prefer the adult only side of the hotel as we can dine in the adult only upstairs for breakfast and dinner then lunch at the adult only pool snack bar …. We love this hotel for the lay out 4rooms per block on a bungalow with terrace style layout.. huge comfy beds and a pillow menu the rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed when you need them to be. the staff work there backsides off providing an amazing service to the guests and i have never had an issue at all neither has my husband. Big Thank you to Francesca for helping with a speedy check in and to luis who always has a welcoming hello and big smiles for us and everyone..Big thanks to Silvia Danny chuss jougens and all the bar staff you are amazing also Jennifer Marianne yenifer and dayana in the adult only buffet upstairs you ladies are wonderful not forgetting Manuala for all your hugs ❤️……… The animation team!!!! WOW you guys are the reason we keep coming back you make us laugh so much your dedication hard work and devotion to the job is out of this world you all go above and beyond to make every customer of that hotels holiday memorable you really do outstanding work and the hotel wouldn’t be the same with out you!!! each time we have a new experience learning new things and making new friends! #elbaGang

A 4 star hotel with a couple of issues. Accommodation, food and all inclusive drinks are all branded spirits. All staff are friendly and helpful with a good variety of food in the restaurants. The children's daytime entertainment is very good. The two negative issues are; An unhealthy smell and the evening entertainment. The smell is of open drains, which at certain times of the day is overpowering. The evening entertainment for four nights of the week was carried out by the in house children's entertainers, which culminated with a "disorganised Karaoke" that finished at 10.30pm on Saturday night. We spoke to a manager who recognised both issues, the smell from the drains was blamed on the current sanitation contract and I was informed it is to renewed in the new year. It would appear that other guests had made comments to the the hotel management about the lack of professional shows as he was already aware of this problem. If these two issues were resolved we would return to the hotel.

Lovely modern room with air con. 50in TV with UK channels. Hair dryer and fridge. Plenty of storage. Large private patio with seats and two sun beds. Lovely good quality food with plenty of choice. Sometimes just Luke warm but that’s the way with buffets. We were half board. All inc. was available for an extra 31 euros a day each. I don’t think so! And we never had to pay for beer from the pool bar. The pools were cold! but just about bearable. Lots of sun beds. Never a problem finding one. Lots of kids but it is a family hotel. One downside is that it’s a 15 minute walk to the nearest small supermarket and a 25 minute walk to the front. The hotel does run a bus three times to the front every day . All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend a to anyone.

Rooms very nice, comfortable and clean. Breakfast very good lots of choice and well cooked. Evening meals very poor. Burnt meat on the outside but raw in the middle. Chefs using the same plates and utensils to handle different raw meats and fish risking cross contamination. Vegetables extremely under cooked to the point of being raw. Unmarked food that even the catering staff didn’t know what it was. Flies on salads and deserts. Night time entertainment starts late with kids club starting at 2100 which is a bit late for little ones. On the bright side cleaning staff excellent and very friendly. Costa and entertainment were very good and in the words of Costa “Very professional!”

I honestly have to say this hotel is amazing! We left about 2weeks ago and didn’t want to leave!! I’m not one to write reviews but I promised myself I would as it was just fantastic! We travelled with a 15/6/2 year olds and they all loved it! My 6 year old max totally fell in love with a lady called Laura from the animation team she was just brilliant with my kids. All the team are fantastic and friendly. I read a few bad reviews before going out and I have to say I have no idea where it came from because we have not got anything bad to say about the place at all! Rooms were lovely and aircon was amazing, food was great. The Italian restaurant was lovely so I highly recommend you book this (included in all inclusive package) it’s about a 10min walk to the beach and town but a taxi is also easy to get and cheap! Bar staff were so friendly and worked so hard! I do think it was a little under staffed to be honest but they did there best. We go on holiday 3/4 times a year and this hotel has been our most fun place for the kids. Plenty going on through out the day, Overall very happy and will defiantly be booking again :)
