Really lovely hotel and helpful and friendly staff. Rooms lovely and plenty of choice for meals. The only fault was the pool was so cold but it was the end of the season as went mid October. Went with Jet2 and wanted to book some trips but when the rep came to the hotel he said that as the season was winding down there were no trips available. All in all had a really good holiday and the weather was exceptionally nice :)

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to let us have your feedback concerning your visit to our hotel. We are delighted to hear that you found our hotel to be lovely and our staff helpful and friendly. It's great to know that you enjoyed our comfortable rooms and the variety of meal choices available at our buffet. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cold pool during your stay. As you mentioned, your visit was towards the end of the season in mid-October, which could have affected the pool temperature. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. We are sorry to hear that you were unable to book any trips with Jet2 during your stay. However, we are glad that you still had a good holiday and enjoyed the exceptional weather. We look forward to welcoming you back on a future visit. Best wishes, Concepción Vidal, Manager

I stayed here for 7 days on a half board basis. The room was nice and clean with a nice balcony and sea view. (Room 22) was cleaned every day and towels changed. The food was plentiful and loads of choice available. The staff were lovely and work very hard. There is entertainment during the day and also every night. Including kids club. The hotel has a pool which overlooks the hotel's private beach. Located within walking distance to the main shopping area the hotel is in a good location. There is a Spar supermarket 5 mins from the hotel if you want snacks drinks etc. Overall I have no complaints about staying here and I would come back again. Thanks to the staff team.

It took a long time to check in, we had to wait 3 hours at reception with our bags to get into the room, and even though it was all inclusive, they didn't allow us access to food and drinks, only at 2:00 pm. We have never had this experience, paying for everything inclusive and not having access to the room, not being able to order drinks or anything!

Location amazing, hotel was very clean and, great choice of fresh food every day. Yes the rooms are dated, but beds comfy and room very clean, and can be cleaned daily on request. The only downside for me was there was no kettle tea/coffee in the room, but coffee and snacks available most of day in the cafe/bar. Staff from reception to cleaning staff were so nice and couldn't do enough.

Large reception area, clean room, helpful staff, no language barrier, plenty of sun loungers around pool, large selection at breakfast, maybe too much! Superb location at top of main street with pretty much private beach and direct access from pool area. Beach isnt fine sand, they're slightly larger like ring stones, very smooth, perfect because it doesn't stick between your toes! I only booked B&B, this was fine as there are plenty of restaurants very close. Was unsure what to expect having seen some bad reviews but honestly I couldn't really fault this place, bed was a bit hard but I didn't really notice until I got home and used my own. All the staff were friendly and helpful, there were no screaming kids and all the other guests were great. Just book it, you won't be disappointed!

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. Firstly if your English do not stay at this hotel. I have never stayed abroad in a hotel as rude as this one. They certainly do not like the English. We booked an 11 day trip as a family of 6. 4 adults, one of which myself a wheelchair user and 2 children. First off jet 2 ‘forgot’ to inform the hotel we needed an adapted room. Ok so you would think that the staff would at least speak and understand a little bit of English but no. They then said sorry no adapter rooms but then shortly after said yes we will upgrade to a superior room. Great sorted mmm nope. Got to the room and it looked wonderful from a doorway a wheelchair could not get through. Finally get moved to another room that was meant for two adults only but they put a camp bed in as our autistic son was staying with us and our other child with his grandparents. It had to make do. The hotel was full of holiday makers either Spanish or French and were so rude they would push in front of you for the lifts with several of them stepping over me. The lifts are dangerous end of! I’m covered in bruises on my arms where I’ve been hit by the lift doors as they close before you can even get in. They don’t level when getting in and out which makes it incredibly dangerous for wheelchair users. The hotel is not suitable at all for those in wheelchairs despite it claiming it is accessible. To get to the pool, loungers and beach the ramps are ridiculous and so unsafe. I only braved it once and honestly wasn’t worth the stress. The ramp to the pool itself was not accessible at all and I didn’t even risk it as people were slipping. The beach is shingle and you can’t access it via a wheelchair you have to leave the hotel and go down the road and there is ramp access down to the sea but it’s so steep I didn’t attempt it. The hotel is also open to the public and there are so many that come and use the facilities you have no chance of relaxing on a lounger unless your up at 7am as they all plonk their towels down then bugger off for the day. There is a small bar which is where we sat. The kids all run around doing as they please and no point joining in the kids clubs as the staff don’t speak any English. The manager is a stuck up bloke who thinks he’s gods gift to the world and is the rudest person you can possibly meet. He screamed and shouted at my parents in the dining room in front of all the guests because we asked to be able to sit together to eat our meals as we are a family of 6. They got told it wasn’t possible because I’m a wheelchair user! Seriously! Just because I’m in a wheelchair doesn’t mean I don’t have the same rights as everyone else. There were Spanish guests in wheelchairs who were able to sit where they pleased and would go round and get their meal choices from the buffet. As all inclusive the food was gorgeous but I wasn’t able to go and select like everyone else as it was deemed to be unsafe so my husband had to get my meals. How degrading. We spoke to jet 2 rep who was appalled but couldn’t move us as all the hotels were full. The cleanliness needs improving greatly. The rooms are basic which is fine and they did give us a free fridge for each room however no sheets were changed, no floors were swept and it was incredibly dusty. They wouldn’t come round for housekeeping till around 4pm so in the end we gave up and said no to ‘cleaning’ you would get free towels on request but only 1 toilet roll per day. The spar down the road stocked toilet roll thankfully. There isn’t much to do but the views are stunning. We weren’t enjoying ourselves so we cut the holiday short and left 4 days early. I honestly would not recommend this hotel to anyone and if your looking at it and reading these reviews please do not book because I wouldn’t want anyone else to have a poor holiday. The only decent thing I can say is the weather was stunning.

This is our 5th visit in 10 years and the caletta is better than ever. We are currently on vacation, rooms 28. 30 and 34, 5 adults and 1 teenager. The location is fantastic, literally on the beach and only a short stroll into town which has a huge variety of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. We are all inclusive and the food is excellent, great variety of fresh foods every day. Rooms are cleaned daily by lovely housekeeping staff. A special mention to Paula, who is a waitress in the bar. She is exceptional, so friendly and a great asset to the Caletta. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Arrived late at night to be greeted by friendly staff. Quickly booked in and shown to our room. It was one of the superior rooms and was huge. Only two of us but had two double beds, sofa, fridge, air con and a large bathroom. No kettle but had a dolce gusto machine with six pods. Next morning went to the nearby Spar and bought a box. So easy. The view from the balcony was stunning. Food was so good with lots of variety during the week. The manager made a point of introducing himself and nothing was too much trouble. The language barrier was never a problem. All the staff, from the cleaners, waitresses, chefs and bar staff were so pleasant I really can't say a bad thing about them. All lovely. Plenty of entertainment during the day and evening. Kids club, a few grab machines, pool table etc. Snacks available between the normal restaurant opening hours. Safe to say, we will definitely return at sometime in the future.

We stayed here in May 2023 as a last minute get away for half term. As we booked last minute we missed out on the opportunity to travel to Portugal and Spain was our second choice, we were not disappointed. The hotel itself felt quite old and dated but it was nothing less than clean and friendly with big spacious rooms and private balconies. It could do with new beds and in our case, a new patio door. The hotel itself is on the beach which we loved, the pool area has limited number of sun beds so being able to walk onto the beach was great and kept the kids entertained. It also meant a bit of rock climbing after dinner was on your doorstep. The guests were mainly families and elderly couples. No stag or hen parties thankfully, there were some large groups of school kids (aged approx 14) who could be loud at times but they were mostly polite and well behaved, a credit to their guardians. We stayed on the third floor and overlooked the children’s play area and adjacent street. We were glad not to have paid the extra £100 for the sea view as having a balcony at the back meant we had a bit more sun in the evenings (great for drying wet swimwear and towels!). We stayed half board and found the food to be okay, we had breakfast and lunch at the hotel but wandered out in the evenings for meals. We were disappointed that the only drinks on offer to half board are water (or coffee at breakfast) - a glass of wine or a soft drink with a main meal would have been nice. The hotel is situated at one end of a busy shopping street with restaurants and bars - well worth the 10 minute walk to experience these things. Our favourite restaurant was called ‘Enjoy it’ - great food and atmosphere. On a rainy day we decided to venture to Girona and spoke to reception for recommendations on bus v taxi. We settled on renting a car for €70 including insurance, we found the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and had a great day out. They directed us to a free car park, 10 min walk from the cultural centre - cathedral and city wall walk which is a must. I don’t think we would return to the hotel as we like to explore new places but if you’re looking for cheap break along the Costa Brava this was great. Also we would highly recommend doing the costal walk (Camino de Rhonda) it’s about 1.5km each way along the sea and beaches, passing an ice cream shack perfect for a snack.
