Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

HIghly recommended boutique hotel with very friendly staff and excellent service. The suites are very well equipped and comfortable and breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was delicious. We hired bikes for a few days to enjoy the great cycling in the area. The standout for us was the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff we met there.

As the choice of hotels in Tilburg is not very good, I decided to start looking in the surroundings and found this very nice place. Staff at reception was very friendly on arrival, and I was arriving fairly late (22:30h).

The place is just being renovated in the reception area, so I had to pass by the reception desk to get to my room, but they were really relaxed about it. The room and bathroom were fairly small, but modern, and you have all you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very good, there was a good working area with an excellent and easy internet connection and all furniture was new.

On the way to the room I passed a restaurant ("GEORGE" I think the name was), so you can also eat here, but kitchen closes at 21:00h. There was also a bar, but that was extremely loud... (put 2 Dutch men in a pub.... ;o))) ). The entire place was very arty and nicely furnished, but all for a very fair rate. The only downside is the view to the back of the hotel, which goes onto industrial sites.

Breakfast had a good choice of fresh fruit and eggs. Coffee was also good. So all in all a very relaxing place with modern interior and friendly staff. I will return!

I’ve stayed here for many years now, on and off. The Orel has recently been refurbished and is now really comfortable. You have always been assured of a typically Dutch warm and friendly welcome, and this is no exception. The staff are friendly and helpful, and you feel like the only customer which is always a pleasant experience.

But the resturant…..

I have had the wonderful pleasure of eating here twice during this stay, and whilst some of the dishes have been the same, the experience has been different but exceptional.

The amuse bouchée of sweet potato purée and basil was Devine, or the Trimble of carrots, exceptional and innovative.

Sublime duck breast with lentils, beet purée, or traditional carpaccio, setting the scene for a comfortable feast of exciting flavours. Followed by Bravette.

The star arrives at the end with an exceptional chocolate pudding of foams, mouses or wonderful cheeses.

A beautiful affordable and exciting feast. Really enjoyable with attentive but unobtrusive waiters where nothing is too much trouble.

Thank you.

Very nice hotel and restaurant. I liked the warm and friendly welcome, the individual treatment.
Dinner at the restaurant is an experience, the dishes a feast for the eye, cocktails and wines upon the good advice of the staff are great. And I liked the breakfast, a lot of small dishes to choose from, nicely presented and delicious.
Although we live close buy, the weekend at Hotel de Leijhof Oisterwijk felt like holiday.
There is one thing I would change as it does not fit the classy style: plastic flowers, bouquets and plants all over the place - replace by real ones for enhancing the athmosphere even more.

We stayed here one night and would highly recommend it. The hotel and it's staff is very professional. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast is very good. Also the general toilet makes you feel like you are in some kind of sophisticated Bond movie

Room was very nice, on the small side but we didn't mind.

The food was beautifully presented but our vegan and vegetarian dishes were very average in taste. Very disappointing for the price.

I had one option for each course and each option contained asparagus (which I happen to love, but in moderation!). The falafel main was dry and bland.

Breakfast had an array of savoury options for meat eaters but not a single veggie sausage or even mushrooms or other veg alternative. Plenty of fruit though.

I appreciate this issue will not effect everyone but there must be enough veggie guests coming through to make more of an effort.

Friendly service and comfortable rooms. Clean room and blind out curtains to keep the morning light out.
Dint make use of roomservice but they had a nice menu available.
I left early so could not make use of the breakfast so they had a breakfast basket for me ready when i checked out to takeaway.

A lovely modern hotel catering for business and normal travellers equally. Restaurant and breakfast both very good. Slightly rushed by curfew times and a bit cold to sit outside in the evenings but the staff made us very welcome.
A special thank you to Lisa on reception who went above and beyond to help us out when our arrival was delayed.
An ideal location for Oisterwijk town and surrounding roads.

We were staying at hotel de Leijhof and visited the bar there called Perk's treasure lounge. The waiter Nick let us feel as if we were at home. We want to thank Nick for his personal touch and advice everyone to go there when visiting the Hotel.

Great location within walking distance of local town. Took the deluxe room. Well equipped and comfortable bed.
No air conditioning made for a warm night. Also tea drinkers bring their own cup (only offer small coffee cups in room). Also if you like a big pillow ask reception.
Took the dinner package. Great service and wonderful food. Breakfast also very good.

We will be back
