This is our second time visiting Texel and staying at this hotel. I think the rooms we had the last time were superior but, saying that, it was still a comfortable stay. Nice, fresh breakfast in the morning. Nice bar for a drink in the evening. I left my wallet in the bar one night and one of the girls...

We had to stay for one night at Texel and luckily there was place in the hotel. Nicely situated in the town Centre. City view means at the street side full with bars open 'till 3pm. Earplugs are provided in the room. Everything good including the breakfast. However, we came to sleep and that's hardly possible in the beds in...

First time in this hotel chain. Lovely tiny room and bathroom. Basically layout. Brilliant located in De Koog alongside local shopping and define restaurants. Caters for all public. People and reception friendly. A nice welcome. Park nearby which is free. Per night 10 euros for parking is not cheap! A nice central location to be.

This hotel is part of chain of Fletcher Hotels. It's ranked as a three star hotel. And that is what it is. The reception is very basic furnished and not very nice decorated. The staff is friendly. The rooms are spacious but a bit outdated in furniture and colours. The bathroom contains with everything you need but basic and also...

This hotel is in the center of the shopping street. There are lots of restaurants, bars on the street. We have been there at the off season, so we didn't suffer from the noise of the street, but I can imagine it could be worst in the summer time. The room was clean and big, with street view, and steam...

My wife and I spent one night at De Cooghen. It was a relatively late booking and it was the only hotel in De Koog available, friends of us were staying elsewhere in the same town, so we more or less had to stay here. On arrival, at 2pm, we were informed that check-in was only at 3pm. At no...

Me and my wife stayed for a three night stay just before Christmas with our dog. We know De Koog very well and were aware of this hotel's location and thought we'd give it a go. We really enjoyed our stay, we had a lovely big room, over looking the street (not a problem in winter) and the breakfast was...

The noise in the street until 5 in the morning didn't allow us to sleep at all. Even the ear plugs provided from the hotel didn't help. There's no air conditioning in the rooms AND you can't open the windows because of the noise. The staff is very unfriendly and didn't offer any help in trying and find an alternative...

The hotel is located in the middle of De Koog with great dining facilities nearby, the beach is 10 minutes walk and there are facilities for children around. The room was spacious and clean, we were very happy with it. Breakfast was also very nice, wide choice and plenty food. We had to pay for the parking which was a...

The hotel is quite close to the beach, not at the beach, but a healthy walk over a steep hill/street. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. The room is in desperate need of renovation. I complained about the disgustingly stained chair in the room to the staff at the front desk. Nothing was done. Room was clean, just really, really...
