Just back from a short stay with my family. Stayed in a 2 bedroom lodge which was well presented, clean and well equipped. The lodges are situated away from the main road, in an idyllic setting with great views. Landmark Forest Adventure under 10mins walk away and Carrbridge is only a short drive from Aviemore. Highly recommend.

What a very special place ❤️ Location and views are stunning. Extremely comfortable, well equipped and spacious lodges in a beautiful setting. Lots of things to do close by, cycling, skiing, quads, golfing, hiking, Landmark, Aviemore, Inverness and loads more. We had a very chilled and happy family break with lots of woodland walks on site. Our hosts Stephen, Claire and Rueben couldn't have been more helpfull especially sourcing equipment to help with my Mums mobility issues. We can't thankyou enough. We will definitely be back very soon 🙂

Stayed in "Willow" wfor 3 nights with 2 kids and we were delighted with how well-equipped, spacious, clean and perfectly located we were for woodland walks & our equipment hire and skiing during our stay. Walking distance from Landmark & family-friendly local gems like The Cairn Hotel bar and restaurant are a huge bonus. Such a lovely setting for a long weekend away - a touch of the Alps on a Scottish ski break! Will definitely bear in mind for future trips.

The Fairwinds Chalets are well equipped, clean and ample room for 6 people (3 adults/3 teenagers). We stayed in the Willow which was lovely, with it's own picnic bench in the outdoor area where we had a couple of barbeques and comfy seats on the decking. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and calm. Lovely forest walks on the doorstep. Landmark only a 5 minute walk. Aviemore is a short 10 minute drive away where there are lots of activities/restaurants etc. All together a wonderful staycation in a beautiful part of the country. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Lovely part of the world, and the chalets set in lovely hotel grounds with lawns running down to a tiny lochan and adjoining a lovely ancient wood with heather blooming below the trees and a variety of signposted walks - just step through a gate in the fence from the chalets and you're in another world. Loads of great things to do in the area - and worth knowing that the local pub can do a takeaway service. Our chalet was small and basic as you'd expect, but also cosy, comfortable and nicely maintained - we needed nothing more for an outdoorsy exploration of the many things the area has to offer

Chalet was comfy and clearly well looked after. Same goes for the grounds. Beautiful spot for a break from our city flat. My daughter enjoyed running around the huge garden and giving apples to the horses. The owners were lovely and very happy to help with anything.
