I booked my room with Diego, the hotel manager. He, the front desk staff, and bellmen were great the entire time, helping us with all our needs! The room was spacious and clean, breakfast and the lobby were nice. BEST OF ALL is the location! walkable to all the pubs, nightlife, restaurants, mall, and Torre de Cable. Right in the...

Manizales is not an exciting city, the hotel is pretty important, and Varuna Hotel is a good cozy experience for a business, close to pubs, restaurants and malls. The service is kind, considerate and friendly. Just for a good rest after work. Bad point, not gym and spa.

We booked this hotel to attend the " Feira de Manizales". At first, we were somewhat concerned. The curb appeal did not excite. It got better. Garage parking was a must for us, and we felt very comfortable leaving the car there for the entire stay. The service was good. The front desk and bellmen were all very helpful providing...

As the title says it's a functional hotel in a good location. It doesn't really cater for tourists. The breakfast is very basic. The room is big and comfortable. It's located close to Cable Plaza and it's many bars. We went to the Tosco restaurant and would definitely recommend a visit while in Manizales. Also did the bike tour with...

Arrived on a Friday evening all wet and muddy after a day walking in the mountains. Pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to Penthouse Floor room. Really nice room with views over the city. We have a problem with our safety deposit box managed to communicate via Google translate and friendly guy fixed the issue in minutes. Everyone was very friendly...

I stayed at Varuna hotel with my boyfriend and his father for one night. We booked two rooms - one for us and one for his father. We mistakenly made both reservations for one person. When we checked in, we corrected the mistake and noted all three names for the reservation. It took us close to 45 minutes to check...

The location was very good. The Cable Plaza area is safe and enjoyable. The area includes shopping, restaurants, and bars. If you enjoy night life, this is the area. The Hotel is a block away from the main street so you don't hear the street noise. Big rooms. Average amenities.

I stayed for 3 nights, and I wouldn't recommend it, it was quite messy. Rooms are big allthough very noisy, breakfast was really not that nice, dry arrepas, bad bread, no fresh juice and the fruits where not ripe. The wifi was horrible, we had to go to Juan Valdez to get connected.

The hotel is good in general terms. Well located, spacious rooms, decent breakfast. A rather nice staff. However, the staff is not prepared to solve simple requests such as get a toothbrush. The bellboy stepped into the shower (with shoes on of course) to show me how the shower works. Service can definitively improve.
