I hadn't been camping for years. So I was pleasantly surprised to discover full toilet and bathroom facilities in impeccable condition. As well as a common room and kitchen area, and internet access to sate my tech appetite as well. If tents aren't your thing, motel style rooms are available. There was plenty of space for tents, caravans, and the...

A simple, tidy, cost-effective place to stay. I think best for short visits. Very close to Coromandel town. The facilities are kept clean, and the communal spaces do the job effectively. I enjoyed my stay, and would happily go there again.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and modern, the bed was comfortable. The kitchen area was a little on the small side but had everything you need in it, the bathrooms again were not so big but clean and looked after. Good place to stay on a budget if you want to explore the coromandel

Headed with the family for a camping weekend, the campground is well spaced out, which is great, no overcrowding! They only have 2 showers and toilets for both sexes so sometimes there was a wait for a shower! There was a filleting station and freezers to use which was excellent for 2 days fishing we had. Charges were based on...

We were there just after a huge downpour of rain. The camp site was closed due the chance of camper vans being bogged down. We were accommodated next to chalet 1 which the third member of our party was offered at the price of a smaller unit. Kudos the the owners!

Tidewater is one of those perfect little places to stay. This family run operation has a range of accommodation available, from tent pitches to cabins, along with the usual range of facilities; all were clean and in good condition. The male shower block (I didn't venture into the female, so no comment!) is looking a little dated, but nonetheless is...

We stayed here on our first night in New Zealand, and have returned again only a week later for the rest of the trip. The staff truly go above and beyond here with room requests, local information and more. We were planning on camping soon and Linda even gave us tips for that. The location is perfect, the facilities have...

After a traumatic day, on the Coromandel Peninsular, our vehicle broken down and all accommodation booked out, everywhere. The local tow truck and taxi people managed to find the three of us, beds for the night. The only highlight of the day, was that we 'ran into' the proprietor Tony and our disastrous day turned from 'doom and gloom' into...

A warm welcome from our host was a good start to our two night stay in a Motel Unit. The unit was well presented, spacious, and clean and tidy. Close to town and helpful advice was appreciated. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay, we will be back and will recommend to others for sure!
