I was a solo traveler backpacking my way down Costa Rica's Pacific Coast beaches. I stayed in KayaSol's dorm room, which is definitely a couple notches up from your typical hostel dorms. The room sleeps 4, and each bed is spaced out throughout the room. Sheets and towels are clean, and each guest has access to their own electronic safe...

We stayed at the Beach House. It was a beautiful house with high ceilings, 2 spacious bedrooms, and a full kitchen with a kitchen island and a dinning room table. It was only a 4 minutes walk to the beach, which has great waves. It was located in town with other hotels and restaurants, a video store, surfboard shops, and...

Over the course of a 10 day trip to Costa Rica, I varied the types of accommodations I booked with regard to price. In the case of Nosara, a friend who had lived there for a few years provided a list of hotel suggestions, and KayaSol Surf Hotel stood out as I did some further research. The place has it...

We stayed at Kaya Sol Surf Hotel for a month in April and May 2014 and we had a lot of fun. The room was comfortable and the restaurant food was delicious. The pool area is shaded so the pool itself was delightfully cool, with lush well cared for grounds including giant guanacaste trees. It was the people who work...

Kaya Sol was wonderfully adequate, and was in my humble opinion the best place to stay in Nosara for surfing. Other travelers we spoke with were blown away by how much less we paid for a double room. Kaya Sol is not a fancy or high end place, the room accommodations were simple and adequate. The location was the best,...

KayaSol is awesome. Its reasonably priced for Costa Rica (avg $20 pp/pn) and its clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming and always willing to practice spanish with you if you want. The pool provides a nice break from the heat of the afternoon sun, while still allowing you to be outside enjoying the fresh air, iguanas, and a cocktail...

i traveled to Nosara by myself and after spending a quick weekend at Kaya Sol with friends last year, I thought it to be the perfect spot for a week of relaxing, good surf, good food and service. I was 100% right in all aspects, and would recommend it to anyone.

-This hotel has a great vibe and beautiful atmosphere, and for the price you wont find a better place to stay. The location is perfect as its in the middle of town with access to everything including the beach. -If your looking for surf lessons Neil is the man as he's patient but motivating at the same time while pushing...

we headed to Nosara to catch up with some friends down in Costa Rica from Canada, and got a couple of beds in the hostel hut. more pricey than a lot of CR, but still, spotlessly clean, individual safes for valuables, cheap board rental, kitchen, pool... also, very friendly and attentive staff

Not much to say here except that KayaSol is an amazing place! Great location, a stone’s throw from one of the safest and most beautiful beaches I have seen in all of Costa Rica. Good restaurant! GREAT pool! Room was perfect, hot water, safe, no need for AC. Friendly staff, surfboards for rent. I met cool people from all over...
