For boulderers in Fontainebleau, the Clos du Tertre is just the place. Stef is an amazing host and expert of all the bouldering areas. He always gave us great advise and helped us with various other things. The rooms are very clean and more than enough for guests that don't require any special luxury. The common room and kitchen are...

A very nice place, quiet and nearby anything you need. The best croissants and good coffee at breakfast (B&B). The rooms are clean and good equiped. For families there are cots and highchairs available. Loved the stay!

We love this place! Very nice, very central, but calm. Steph is a very hospitable, helpful and friendly host. The breakfast table is nicely decorated and full of good and sweet things. We believe in good croissants, so we always look forward to non-mondays. The kids couldn't wait to dig into the big box full of his now adult kids'...

My wife and I stayed here for a week with our 8 month old during a bouldering trip. We stayed in the bed and breakfast accommodation which had everything we could need including a cot for the little one. Stéphane, the host was very friendly and fantastic with our son, each morning he provided a fantastic breakfast and joined us...

Stef is the consummate host. The property is clean with adequate parking. It is very conveniently located in relation to many famous bouldering areas. The rooms are clean and breakfasts are fresh. I fully recommend you consider visiting his property. The amenities include a fully functional kitchen and a washing machine. You could spend all of your non climbing time...

We stayed based on the recommendations of a friend and Le Clos du Tertre far surpassed our expectations. Stef is a kind and gracious host, making sure our visit was the best it could be. The location is lovely and quiet, but near fantastic bouldering and a local market, making travel times very manageable. We very much enjoyed our stay...

The accommodations at Le Clos du Terte were just what we were looking for. Simple, clean and comfortable. We stayed in the B&B-side of the property (as opposed to the gite). Stef, the host and property owner was very gracious, friendly and knowledgeable about the bouldering. His English is fluent, which was a real help for our group. The B&B...

We found recommendations for Le Clos du Terte while researching Fontainebleau to do some bouldering. Stef proved extremely helpful and entertaining, providing us with advice, recommendations, directions, and conversation without ever being invasive. Being a bit outside of Font, it was both convenient and quiet, but does require a car to make the most of the experience. I can't recommend...

Stayed for three days of climbing in early september, in the middle of a longer holiday in France, and wish we could have stayed longer. Stef and Valerie were fantastic hosts. Aside from knowing a ton about the area (climbing wise and otherwise) and offering wonderful service (great breakfast, renting crashpads, advice and directions, etc.), they were also just very...
