We arrived soaking wet on our motorbike after a major thunder storm in the Pyrennees. The staff were so gracious and helpful, even managing to garage our bike for us. After a very hot bath in a luxury Art Deco bathroom, we headed out to explore the town itself. Wonderful place. Returned to the hotel for dinner, it was a...

Bonsoir Thanks a lot for taking your time to share your experience in Auch. I am glad that you have enjoyed it so much! We are upkeeping an old hotel, refurbishing bit by bit rooms and common areas...but always wanting to keep its atmosphere. Vincent leads a good team of professional chefs for the 2 restaurants, "Le 9" more traditional,...

You couldn't ask for a more central location which has both plusses and minuses! The plus includes being able to walk everywhere easily, the minus that the drunks are quite noisy. We were promised "air conditioning" - this was in fact a stand up fan so it was pretty hot. I think it has got stuck in the era and...

During our grand tour this year we picked Auch as a stop over between Port Leucate and the west coast (bad idea) We found the hotel situated in a beautiful location on a square in the old centre easily- parking in front of the hotel for unloading luggage was convenient and long term parking 50yards around the corner free and...

Stayed for two nights on a tour of the region. First room we were offered had stained walls and was pretty dirty. Asked for a different room and were given the option of two others which were better, but not spot on.

My family of 4 adults and a little dog was travelling in Gascone in May 2016. This hotel definitly has history. The rooms a big and decorated with antique furniture, but need a little restoration. Apart from excellent accomodation the hotel has two gourmet options for dining: a resaturant - Grand Salle and a bistro. Both are very affordable, delicious...

This used to be the best hotel in the Gers, with a famous restaurant, and its location could hardly be better--on the main square, opposite the Cathedral. Unfortunately, its glory days have long gone. The rooms could do with some refurbishing, but above all the service needs to be improved. We had booked three rooms and ate dinner in the...

Great location in the heart of Auch. Handy to cafes and historic aspects. Stayed 2 nights. Hotel itself is run down but I found the historic building quite uplifting. Furniture and carpet the same, but have a certain appeal and charm. The room itself was fine for 2 nights. Small but tidy and clean. Staff very helpful. Yes I would...

This hotel has such a great location in the main square in Auch and it should be the leading hotel in Gers where hotels really are few and far between. Yet it's really shabby and run down and quite depressing actually. We almost left when we saw the room but it was so late that we had no choice but...

Stayed two nights in August to be in the area of a friend, so booked this quite late, and because we were attending events were unable to sample its excellent restaurant. Great room, perfect location and helpful staff. Breakfast and checkout were severely understaffed; breakfast room needs to be more airy if a buffet breakfast is available.

Good central location and attractive facade to a historic building, dated inside but had a certain charm and the rooms are spacious. Dark old-fashioned thick vinyl-type wallpaper was something to behold, I believe all rooms are decorated differently. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The wi-fi wasn't working due to damage during a storm, which also took out some of...

The hotel is located in the heart of the historical town of Auch. Once parked in the large free and easy carpark 50m away from the hotel, you can just enjoy walking around the narrow streets to dicover the history of the city of the Musqueteers! You will not find this convenience in any other hotel around. We also welcome you in our 2 in-house restaurants. "Le 9", serving the best traditional and local cuisine, displaying local producers. "La Grande Salle", the best of Vincent's cuisine, associating traditional techniques and respect of the produce mixed with creativity and thought associations of flavours and textures, a true chef cuisine.
