We just returned from two weeks holiday in an appartment in cardaneto. The location is VERY buityful (breathtaking views) and the appartment was newly restored and furnished with antiques. The pool is Big and good both for kids and adults! The owners are very helpful and the little town montone, 20 minutes walk away on childfeet is wonderful. We had... More

I'm a little reticent to write this review as I would dearly love to keep this little corner of Umbria a complete secret as it is the most perfect holiday escape. Cardaneto is a very special place indeed - all due to the charismatic owners, Mauritzio, his beautifully elegant partner Graziella and the most hard working man in Montone -... More

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed after an incredible experience last year, we were not disappointed on return and if possible it topped our last stay. Maurizio is the most lovely man you could have hope to meet and a great host. His wife cooks the yummiest truffle pasta in all of Italy and the... More

Just back from a wonderful 4 night stay at Podere Cardaneto. Charming hosts, delicious home cooked food, delightful views, wonderful pool and artistically styled furniture make this place a real gem! We stayed in the suite which was so spacious with a perfect vista of Montone, but all rooms looked lovely from what we saw. The pool area is also... More

Just returned from 2 weeks stay in self catering accommodation. We had one of our best holidays. The rooms are lovely as are the hosts Maurizio, Graziella and PG. They could not have been kinder. If we wanted breakfast it was excellent and only 6E and the dinners, which they cooked, were 30E for 5 courses and a great local... More

We stayed at Cardaneto for ten days in July and it is the most wonderful place with lovely owners Maurizio and Grazemaela. The house is rustic and antique filled and hugely stylish, each room is unique and the new building, where our family of 4 stayed, had huge rooms and beautiful bathrooms. The pool is one of the nicest I've... More
