Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pool area is great to chill and enjoy the views and the quiet - it is a very quiet area. Facilities are good and breakfast has a great choice of cooked eggs and bacon, cereals, bread and cold meat, yoghurt and fruit. All day you can enjoy the bar for cold drinks (self service). Need a car to get to bar, restaurants and shops as not anything local really - walkable I suppose but a steep hill back up.
This is a must visit place run by a lovely couple.

This interesting, rustic farmhouse is in a quiet spot away from the larger hotels in Torrox yet within walking distance of the beach. Saskia was very welcoming and immediately made us feel at home. Our room was clean and well appointed, breakfast was great and well cooked by Vince!
Many thanks.

We stayed for one night whilst driving through Spain, the dutch couple that have bought this place a year ago are lovely. It is more like a bed and breakfast, easy access to Torrox Costa, note that this place is not in Malaga, it is actually 50 miles out of Malaga, it sits on a hilltop with lovely sea views. Breakfast was fine. My only gripe is the towels, they are VERY thin and felt like sandpaper

We had a pleasant stay with our circle of friends. The outdoor area invites all kinds of sports Things to do. The house is well equipped. The walk to the beach is short, but the neighbouring dog is very worried by aggressive behaviour - especially among younger passengers. The constant barking disturbs the local calm and spreads fear.

We were fortunate to discover the Cortijo online and even though it's only been weeks since we've been home, we still cherish the time we spent there. Ownership has changed, since September 2008, and the new hosts, Danny and Nancy are simply wonderful. They go out of there way to make you feel welcome, and the surroundings are beautiful. Our stay in Spain was made even more special for their efforts and the accommodations at the Cortijo. We hightly recommend this place, only a few minutes from the beach. Enjoy a glass of cava on their patio, and remember all the good things in life!

A really enjoyable stay, very friendly,Family run business. We had a really enjoyable stay and will return in the future. All areas were clean,Pool was cleaned out Daily.
My only gripe would be directions shown on Booking.com ,coming off of the Autovia from the Airport it shows the Hotel being in the Village up the hill,it is infact down the hill and to the right ,following signposts to it,this will save a little extra drinking time and a few arguments!!

Very pleasant accommodation with charming hosts Saskia & Vincent. They make you feel at home, serve a very nice breakfast and do everything in their power to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It's quiet and relaxed. There is ample parking space and the beach and restaurants are 'just down the hill'

Are you looking for a B and B with a warm and inviting feeling as soon as you walk through the front door ? My sister and I found it in Torrox Costa , Spain. The owners will help you out in many different languages, english, german, dutch, norwegian ect.The room was very big and had nice beds. Lots of water pressure in the shower. In the morning you were greeted to a complete breakfast .Nothing was left out. Well done Saskia and Vince.

The B&B is in a converted Andalucian farmhouse located at the top of a hill behind Torrox Costa with sweeping views of the coast. We had Room 8 at the front of the house with views of the garden, Torrox Costa and the sea from its window and tiny balcony. There is a cosy lounge room with a log fire and a sunny breakfast room where despite being the only guests, we had a lovely breakfast that included cereal, fresh bread and a selection of cheese and ham. New owners Vince and Saskia were very friendly and helpful. There are some great cafes and restaurant on the beach promenade which is a short walk away and there are more dining options in Nerja if you have a car.
