I stayed here during a business trip! I would not recommend this hotel again for anyone who has to work in the hotel. The internet connection was bad and the rooms/ hotel was outdated. The best thing about the hotel was free parking space. Would not stay here again!

The hotel’s basic amenities are more than adequate. The rooms are ample and clean and the food is good (try the ‘Blonde d’Aquitaine’ entrecote: it is big, tender and very, very tasty!). The hotel is located centrally in a beautiful part of the Netherlands, the province of Drenthe, with all interesting sites within an easy distance. A minus, location wise,...

Quiet, Clean and comfortable. A nice holtel on the edge of the Dwingelderveld National Park, and just off the motorway (A28). The hotel has a number of different room types. (Budget, Standard, Luxury and Suite. Also conference facilities). We stayed in a luxury room. It had plenty of room, and it was nice to have a proper shower as well...

The hotel is located about 10 minutes by car from the nearest city. My room was big with a nice bathroom and shower. Quality of sleep so so, could hear the neighboor watching TV. Breakfast acceptable. I did not eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice. Private parking available. Wi-fi worked OK.

This hotel is situated in a very nice area, between Hoogeveen and Assen and located at the edge of the Dwingelderveld. The hotel offers several cycling routes and supplies. The entrance of this hotel looks nice and shows the 4-Star hotel sign. Reception staff is friendly and there's a nice open terrace with fountain to grab a drink. Next to...

Unbelievable that this hotel gets a 4 star ranking. The walls are so thin you can hear every exact word from the people next to you. We had neighbours which coughed the entire night. Internet was extremely expensive and breakfast was not ready at the time they advertise.

I have stayed at this hotel over the past 15-20 years. Was surprised to see it is a Best Western now! Our experience of this chain is that they don't live up to 4 star standards. But knowing Holland and their standards we were fairly confident it would be good. Firstly we expected a double en-suite to have a double...
