Recently attended wedding at the grand hotel tynemouth and I can say it was a really lovely day had by all staff all very friendly. They handelled the wedding very professionaly and the night time was excellent. The food was really nice and couldn't complain about it. The only thing is the price of drinks is a little expensive.

My sister and I were treat to afternoon tea by our three nieces at this lovely hotel. We we greeted at the door and shown to our table will we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. When everyone arrived we felt we were ignored as the staff seemed to be more concerned with relaying the tables rather...

Having stayed at this hotel for one night recently I had some issues, one serious. I wrote to the manager and to date have not had the courtesy of a reply and have decided that I have to make my concerns more widely known as he seems to have failed in assuring me that changes would be implemented. The hotel...

Good evening Firstly let me apologise for the delay in getting back to you, this was not my intention. In regards to the comments in your letter I can assure you that the signs were an oversight as we were and still are in the middle of upgrading the hotels rooms and corridors. The fire signs are back up and...

We stayed for one night and had a lovely room larger than I thought a standard would be. Comfortable bed and breakfast the next day was very good. We liked the pub that joins the hotel and the lounge for reading the papers was smashing. We would recommend to friends and would be delighted to stay again.

Great 2 night stay in Tynemouth for a friend's wedding, except for some slight noise from creaking floorboards in the room above and some poor service at breakfast on the Sunday morning. Rooms were very clean, food was grand, and staff were mostly good

This has always been a superb hotel and I have been visiting for over 30 years. The restaurant, bar, function rooms and bedrooms are all excellent and the staff extremely friendly. I couldn't book recently as the hotel was full, so I went to The Park Hotel nearby which was a complete disaster and clearly shows either how much The...

Just had a lovely meal in Tynemouth at the above mentioned restaurant . The service was friendly, the food lovely and reasonably priced. This was a first but not a last visit to this little jewel in Tynemouth's crown. Just a note to anyone with gluten free needs , there is plenty of choice . Worth a visit .

My second stay at this fine Tynemouth landmark. Cannot praise the staff enough. So friendly and accommodating, especially the restaurant and kitchen staff who were happy to work around my embarrassingly long list of food allergies. Impressed by the free high speed WIFI, which, I was pleased to note, was available throughout the entire building. Thank you Jane for the...

My daughters wedding was held here and up to about 30 guests stayed in the hotel, many for two nights. The venue is outstanding, opposite stunning Longsands Beach and it is a lovely old building with an elegant curved staircase ideal for photography. Waking up to a fantastic view of the beach was wonderful. The staff were all friendly and...
