Glencoe House offers 5-star luxury suite accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The hotel comprises fourteen generous private suites (from 75-148 sq. metres) and contains two distinctive concepts. Firstly, The Glencoe House Suites that are located in the mansion house and have a wealth of period features together with sea or mountain views. Secondly, The Bell Tower Suites which are located 50m from the mansion and are more modern in look and feel and garden views; all have private walled gardens with hot tubs. Regardless of your choice, Glencoe House offers elegant but relaxed and sumptuous suites, with the space and privacy to really kick your shoes off and unwind.

My third stay at this beautiful hotel. Stunning views, excellent service. Luxury at its finest. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was perfect and we were so lucky with the weather. Myself and my husband were in suite 2 and my daughter and son in law were in the self catering lodge. Emmaculatly clean. We will be back soon

We stayed here for 3 nights for our 20th anniversary at the end of October/start of November for our first stay in the Highlands - our friends thought we were slightly unhinged! We were blessed with three sunny days and one day of rain, snow, wind, rainbows and sunshine and got in lots of great hiking without needing a car. The location is absolutely superb: picturesque Lochan and it's three trails (loch, woodland and mountain) is literally on the doorstep, and it's an easy hike down to the Glen itself and up towards the Pap for tremendous views. The village of Glencoe is nearby with some lovely craft shops and cafes (seek out the waterfall too!) and it's an easy bus or taxi ride from Fort William. We also got a bus to Kinlochleven to hike to the Grey Mare waterfall and abandoned Mamore Lodge. Our suite (8) was not only truly enormous and quietly luxurious but cosy and comfortable, with easy-to-regulate heating and fantastic facilities and views. The bespoke in-room dining was a lovely experience and the chef coming to discuss preferences in the morning was so nice. The suite layout is really thoughtful, especially the bathroom and hot-tub facilities. Relaxing in the hot-tub looking over the Loch in the evening was an experience we won't forget! It was neat to be able to sync music from phone to wireless speaker as well, for some mood music over dinner. We didn't miss the open fireplace shown on the website (which is a bit out of date - they were decommissioned for safety reasons some time ago) at all - plenty of candles for a romantic glow, and there was a blazing hearth in the reception area. If you want to socialise with other guests this is not the place as there is no bar, but if you value quiet privacy, this is for you. You won't be short of a drink though, as the in-room honesty bar was exceptional both in range and value for money. All in all, very highly recommended and we wish we had stayed longer. Heartfelt thanks to all of the staff for such a wonderful stay and we hope to see you again.

Glencoe House was a very memorable experience. We stayed in October 2023 in the self catering rooms. I was worried since the suites inside the house were already booked, but there was no reason to worry!!!! The self catering Strathcona Lodge room number 11 that we booked was so charming, luxurious & very large!! It was well stocked beyond anything we had ever experienced in our fairly extensive travels. They had thought of every need we might have!!! The room included breakfast and lunch foods and gourmet frozen meals if you wanted to stay in for dinner. Also, a very important feature was the washer/dryer combo unit in our room, which we appreciated having so much! The check in, check out process was flawless - quick and easy. The grounds of Glencoe House are just lovely, and the air there is crisp and fresh because of all the large, mature trees surrounding the area! I cannot recommend Glencoe House more highly, it was one of our best travel experiences ever!!

We enjoyed our two nights in the Strathcona Lodge at Glencoe house. The Lodge units are not as elegant as the main hotel and lacks it views, but the rooms are spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed the self catering aspect, featuring a stocked frig full of tasty, high quality foods. The wood burning fireplace was romantic and the hot tub was a welcome treat after days of hiking. Finally, the Glencoe area is beautiful with several amazing trails and vistas. The only glitch we experienced was the washing machine in our unit did not work. The friendly staff made up for this by washing our clothe at no cost.

An experience of a lifetime! A most extraordinary place to stay in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The setting could not be more beautiful, with dramatic views of the Loch and acres of walking trails in lush garden settings. Our suite, # 2, was so comfortable we did not want to leave. The living room and dining areas were wonderful and the bed was larger than a standard king and extremely comfortable. The huge deck with a hot tub was a real plus. Breakfast were delicious and served course by course each morning in our room. Each day, the magnificent chef, Sebastian, would come to our room to discuss what we would like for dinner. If it wasn't on the menu but available, he would make it for us. The dinners were more than delicious and there were a there was a large selection of wines, beers and other alcoholic beverages available at really amazing prices. While breakfast was included, we opted to have dinner each night at the hotel and are so glad we did! The team of Graham, Robert, James, Cheryl, Lizzie and Chef Sebastian made our stay a truly magical one that we will never forget. For that really special, once in a lifetime stay, we highly recommend the Glencoe House.

We had a delightful stay at beautiful Glencoe House. The staff were very attentive and we quite enjoyed learning about the history of the building. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. (I would have loved a hair dryer though.) The grounds had lovely walking trails. And the in room meals were very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We stayed there a few years ago, and noticed some changes There was a musty smell in the unit, which lingered despite open windows and air freshener The stair carpet was stained and the walls were marked and dirty The freezer needed a good clean The unit clearly needs a deep clean, with upholstered furnishings and carpets requiring steam treatment to remove musty odours The grounds and surrounding areas are absolutely breathtaking, and the staff are absolutely lovely Hopefully they can improve the deep cleaning issues and return to the luxurious, immaculate vibes of precious years
