Spent 3 nights at the wonderful Strath lodge, Dawn and Lawrence were great hosts and the place itself is straight out of grand designs. Perfect location for exploring the area and Dawn was on hand to give us tips on where to go. Breakfast was excellent and I am now hooked on porridge still trying to perfect Lawrence’s version!

This was our second stay at Strath Lodge, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The new (to us) owners were so kind and helpful during our stay and even helped us with recommendations for the rest of our trip around Scotland. Breakfast was always perfect and the accommodations at the lodge are amazing. The rooms and bathrooms are way larger than any other place we've stayed at in Scotland. We absolutely love this area as some of the most breathtaking views and hikes are here. You will not regret your stay at Strath Lodge!

Strath Lodge was a wonderful place to base our family for several nights in the Glenco area! This is truly a 5 star establishment….beautiful lodging, rooms were serene and well appointed, and breakfast’s were amazing! We felt like we were staying at a spa! Our hosts were lovely and helpful. You can tell they truly care about ensuring you have a wonderful stay. We hope to come back some day and would definitely stay at Strath Lodge again!

The Strath Lodge is a wonderful base for any exploration of the Glencoe region. The Bidean room we had was very spacious and comfortable, with a lot of light and views of the mountains. The bathroom was also nice and modern. Everything was squeeky clean. The host, Dawn, was warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was wonderful, and you get to pick and choose the items you want and like, so there is no waste. The Pap of Glencoe hike is just a few minutes away, walking. The village is also very close by. If you want a nice dinner, there is also the Loch Leven Seafood Café not very far that is worth a visit.

I cannot recommend this place enough. It felt like staying in a Grand Designs house. I stayed in the Bidean Room for two nights. I had a rest day from the West Highland Way to explore Glencoe and it was definitely the best decision or I’d have missed this gem of a place. It’s impeccably designed, immaculately clean and unbelievably comfy (the bed made it very difficult to get motivated to get back on the West Highland Way). Breakfast was unreal, I haven’t had porridge like that before, smoked salmon on sourdough with scrambled eggs was also fantastic. Most importantly the owners are so accommodating and thoughtful. Dawn picked me up from the West Highland way and dropped me back on it, she quite literally went the extra mile for me, and she made my trip more enjoyable.

An absolutely wonderful stay. Dawn and Lawrence are wonderful hosts. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a huge a comfortable bed. The breakfast is incredible, so much so, we needed a nap afterwards . The recommendations Dawn made in places to visit and eat were perfect. We had such a wonderful stay in Glencoe, and would not hesitate in returning to Strath Lodge. Thanks

Our stay at the Strath Lodge was just wonderful! We were welcomed in by Dawn and immediately felt right at home. The house is just beautiful with amazing photographs everywhere. Our room was absolutely the most beautiful room we stayed in this entire trip and so comfortable. We even had our own private room to lounge in and enjoy an evening whisky. Breakfast was delicious and so much to choose from. The creamiest porridge I've ever had!! Dawn recommended a great seafood restaurant for dinner and even made the reservation for us. I would definitely recommend staying at Strath Lodge when in Glencoe!

Treated like a King and Queen. Dawn, the owner, will spoil you with her charm and grace. Her demeanor of service, genuine. The interior impeccable and the bed, luxurious. A stay at Strath Lodge is a must if visiting Glencoe or surrounding areas. The best place to stay in Glencoe!

A meticulously clean, modern B&B set in a prior Art Gallery and workshop. Many reasonable rules and regulations but well run and a good breakfast. Requires 2 night stay. Perfect access to the Glencoe valley. The Clachaig Inn down the little road was pretty much the only place to eat but it was good with a huge offering of beers and fair food. Reservations are highly recommended at the Inn restaurant. I would not recommend staying at the Inn.
