Delightful warm welcome extremely comfy bed and nice breakfast. The shared bathroom without a separate lavatory was a downside but the other positive factors made up for this. Thanks for a great night’s sleep in glencoe girls

Even before arrivalthere was a super nice exchange of mails, very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Both Helen and Jo had great tips for what to do, where to eat a.s.o. They made me feel very welcome and at home. Thanks again, more than ready to repeat this.

We had a nice one-night stay here. The twin ensure room is well equipped and clean. And Jo lent us some DVDs. The breakfast was good too with a nice vegetarian selection. The only inconvenient thing was the check-in time of 4 pm and the check-out of 10 am. The standard around

Response from Helen W, Owner at Heatherlea Bed and Breakfast

Hi Thank you for you feedback. We are glad your stay with us was a positive one. For B&B's in the UK (and in Glencoe) the normal check in time is 4pm, check out time 10am, this is so that we have enough time to refresh and clean all the bedrooms, clean the house thoroughly and prepare for the next guests arriving. Usually within a B&B it is just the owners who run it, unlike a hotel where there is a team working together and a reception area. We do the best we can to cater for individual requirements but we too need to get shopping in, walk the dogs and enjoy the area we live in. We would hope as we have had such amazing weather that guests would not require the house between 10am and 4pm and enjoy the beautiful scenery around us. There are contact numbers for us which are available for guests if urgent access is required to the house. We do hope you return to Glencoe one day soon and will still consider to stay with us. All the best Helen and Jo
