This place was magical and everywhere you looked was just beautiful! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, both on site and via email or WhatsApp. They arranged our airport transport, helped with the rental car agency, gave recommendations for food/meals, and helped arrange our kayaking excursion with Spot on E Bikes! We stayed in the Sunset cottage, which was perfect for my husband and I, and had the most gorgeous views every evening while planning our evening meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The restaurant was delicious and there was always very friendly staff working there too! We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a place to get away from it all and to see some of the most gorgeous sights ever! We will be back, thanks so much again for the most wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dragon Cay. We stayed in the sunrise cottage and it had gorgeous views. The patio on this one is not screened in but we brought bug spray and stayed off the porch as dusk and dawn when bugs are the worst and had no issues. Everything was as described, beach, cottage, ect. It is not the fanciest of places, but you are made well aware of that when booking. It is truly an unspoiled area and as such you don’t have the same amenities as other areas. We knew this and set expectations as such by bringing most of what we would need (groceries/bug spray/water). We did go to North Caicos to grab a few things one day and they had a decent selection of items if needed. We liked the onsite restaurant and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Short drive to Bambarra Beach (Must do!) and the secret beach and Mudjin Harbor at the resort are amazing. There are not many people and you may be the only one on the beach at any given time. While we loved our time in Provo this was our favorite part of our trip. 😊

Great villa, great service. The layout of villa was perfect for our family of 4. We kited between North and Middle Caicos - the country's best flat spot. We simply loved our stay. We'll do it again for sure.

Great location with great views and easy walk to Mudjin Harbor, short drive to North Caicos and Bambarra beach in Middle Caicos. The islands as a whole don't have much in supplies and when we went on a Sun afternoon, all grocery stores had already closed down (2:00pm ferry from Provo to North via Caribbean Cruisin) - not much you can do about that other than carry much (but what about perishables....). Nice peaceful and private cottage. We did run into a broken coffee maker (in Provo and here on this vacation!) but was replaced albeit only next day because everyone was gone Sun afternoon. Don't expect a lot of facilities (no in unit laundry or even a laundromat, dry your wet beach clothes on the porch and hope it dries enough!), but otherwise a very good place to stay. Bambarra is the shallowest beach we have ever seen, great for small kids but perhaps not ideal for adults or for snorkeling etc.). Mudjun Harbor reminded me of the Cliffs of Mohr (this is smaller) a little except this has a beach too with easy access.

This was our 10th visit to Dragon Cay! Truly! an amazing property with one of the nicest beaches in the Caribbean. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. There is a restaurant that is open for lunch every day and for dinner on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The property is managed by Caicos Cactus and specifically by Marilyn who makes sure that you incredibly well taken care of.

We stayed in Ridgetop for five nights in November. It was a great stay. The view was good - we could see Dragon Cay and the waves breaking on it. The restaurant was good. The internet was great. The kitchen was adequately appointed (no blender though) and we were able to cook most of our meals there. The bed was a little firm for my preference, but no too bad. This is a VERY quiet remote island. Rent a car and explore some lovely deserted beaches. We made it to Wild Cow Run and had miles of deserted beach to ourselves. The resort staff were great and Mudjin Harbor is stunningly beautiful. Mosquitoes and no-see-ums are some of the worst we have experienced. Bring your bug spray and be aware that that no-see-ums can get through the window screens.

It was a joy having you here with us and thank you for your kind review. Please note that all of the units are supposed to be equipped with a blender, so we will look into what happened to the one from Ridgetop immediately. We do also provide bug spray in each of the cottages and we always recommend loading up if you are going out exploring around the island. We hope we will be able to welcome you back again soon.

Wonderful stay in the large villa Solstice. Nice private rooms to give guests space and all the amenities of home for food prep and dining fun. Quiet grounds offer the most serene experience and the quiet beaches you visit are often unshared and make you feel like you’re in a world of your own! Bikes and kayaks available and just a short walk from the best attractions Middle Caicos has to offer; the dragon, Secret Beach, prayer hands and Circle of Hope and just down the road is Indian Cave. Just a short bike ride or car ride down the road you’ll find the Conch Caves. Truly a getaway experience whether you are a couple, group or family. We visited just before the hurricane hit and we’re blessed to have enjoyed our full stay at Dragon Cay. We were told Solstice and others had minor damage and the resort was taking the opportunity to do routine maintenance as well assuring us our next visit was secure!

Dragon’s Cay was the most magical location for our long dreamed of trip. The view from our house must be up there with some of the most spectacular in the whole Caribbean! Seawings House on the resort was perfect for us with easy access to the beach and walking trail and also to the cool Mudjin Harbour bar and restaurant (open every lunchtime and will do delivery dinners). It was also very well equipped and spacious and the hosts were delightful and helpful. Middle Caicos is a true Desert Island’ with little development (remember this when planning your itinerary and meals). The ferry from Provo is fast and organised - a great way to enjoy a trip out on the ocean. We loved every single second - thank you all at Dragon’s Cay

Dragon Cay is definitely a hidden gem of Turks and Caicos. If you’re looking to rest and get away from your busy life for awhile, this is where to go. It’s secluded, and away from grocery stores/shopping centers. So if you love nightlife or shopping, this isn’t for you. And a rental car is a MUST. However, if you like peace and quiet, do it. I’ll list my pros and cons of the place. Pros: the staff is phenomenal, always asked if I needed anything. Ms. Evelyn, the host, messaged me almost everyday to check up on me. You literally feel like you have the whole island to yourself, and the Mudjin harbor just takes your breath away. Local authentic food is delicious. The water is so clear, it’s unreal. The sunset is majestic. Loved the rum punch pitcher from Ms. Evelyn upon arrival, so delicious. Cons: mosquitoes, please bring bug spray. I stayed in the sunset cottage, and there was an ant and roach issue. I notified the staff, and they gave me a strong bug spray (which worked for a few hours, but then the ants returned again). Marilyn (I believe she’s the manager) regularly messaged me to make sure all was fine, was also going to have the place sprayed by a professional. But by then, it was already time for me to leave. I noticed that someone in the reviews below complained about bug issues in the same cottage, so maybe it’s something that management need to fix for the next guests. Out of the whole trip, this was the only issue that was cumbersome. Another con is that if you’re going during off season (which I did), most restaurants will be closed. But that is why they ask that you buy groceries in town. Overall, I had a good experience. The peace, quiet, beautiful water, and the kindness of the locals made my trip so much better. I will return with my family next time. I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the bug issue.

It was a pleasure to have you here with us at Dragon Cay. Please be assured that we are addressing the bug issue in a serious way. Now that the storm has passed, we are inspecting every inch of every cottage for any potential damage as well as doing deep fumigations. We know you will not have this same issue on your next visit!
