We wanted a place to stay overnight near Waitomo Caves as this is where we were going the following morning. The lodge is around 15 minutes away from the main Waitomo Glowworm Caves centre. Our room and bathroom were both very spacious and very comfortable - there was a large…
We stayed in a one bedroom unit. The rooms are well designed for families, as there is a separate room with two twin beds for the children, with the king size bed, lounge and kitchenette in the same room. Clean and tidy and very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again.

We are a couple with a two years old child. Our tour agent booked us into a room with spa bath. The unit had two rooms. The main room had a king size bed and a mini kitchnette with stove and full set of cutlery. It also had another room with two single beds. It had a big spa.…
Good place to spend the night if you’re visiting the Waitomo Caves. Nothing fancy but really clean and fairly quiet. The receptionist could be a little more welcoming and there wasn’t a lot of kitchenware to cook with.
"We stayed in room 11 - well away from the road, view of the trees and river."
"Rooms at the back of the hotel furthest from the road would be the most quiet."
"Large room that backed out onto the bush with large bifold doors leading out onto a good sized balcony."
"We enjoyed the passing trains but you could ask for a room away from the track, if you wish."
"some rooms have airconditioning"
