My five-year-old son and I ended our tour of New Zealand's North Island at Waitomo Boutique Lodge...and what a terrific choice this was. Whilst New Zealand's countryside rarely takes a bad shot, the views from this property were particularly exceptional. Taking a walk around the lawns and gardens of this property at sunset made me feel like I'd just stepped...

Our one night stay at the lodge is one of the most memorable nights of any of our family holidays. As expat New Zealanders we always make the effort to show our young boys our home country and this stay didnt disappoint. The home is incredibly beautiful and Leanne and Rod are very welcoming and relaxed - nothing was a...

We arrived after s seven hour hike through amazing NZ bush to this magnificent home. Our hosts own and farm 2000 acres and built themselves a beautiful home. Everything about our stay was first class.

What a great stay! New Zealand is a beautiful country, with marvellous landscapes and exciting adventures. Staying at the Boutique Lodge was the final tipping point that had us not only wanting to stay and live in New Zealand, but never leaving the lodge! Rodney and Leanne felt like family as soon as they greeted us. My kids enjoyed the...

Lean and Rodney were such good hosts, they are very warm and inviting. They even provided us with a nice little farm tour as we were interested in the farm life. The property is just so gorgeous and photos online really doesn't do it any justice. Lean prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. It was really nice to also know...

Thanks for choosing Waitomo Boutique Lodge as part of your Waitomo experience and for it being your highlight of your trip. It was a pleasure meeting you both, having you stay and being able to enjoy "Bella, Smoky and Missy" the lodge pets and having the time for a farm tour. We look forward to seeing your both again sometime...

We had a great few days exploring the beautiful Waitomo with the help of our gracious host and guide Leanne. We would happily return again to check out the planned developments and tracks. Great accommodation and friendly hosts.

Was not informed of the NZD 95/child/night surcharge at the time of booking. Booked the loft because it could take our family of 4 but it ended up costing NZD540/ night with the surcharge for 2 children as opposed to the NZD 350 as advertised. Opted for dinner in the house to avoid driving up the narrow, windy road to...

Thank you . We appreciate your business and for writing a review. All feedback is important to us, be it good or bad. Also, I apologize for any inconvenience with the surcharge. We have always had this charge for children and or extra adults. In NZ you tend to pay per person rather than per room. Thanks to you bringing...

Leanne and Rodney are gracious hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them. They have a beautiful home with spectacular views. The location is central and idyllic. The accommodation is very comfortable, especially the beds. Leanne provided great guidance on things to do locally which gave us an opportunity to experience a part of NZ that very few tourists get...
