A family friendly place that has been recently renovated to cater for all groups. Central and very hand location to most of the tourist spots around Turangi. We stayed at the executive suites which were very comfortable with modern features and fairly priced. Very friendly hosts with great local knowledge and we particularly enjoyed their suggestion to visit the Pukawa...

Top location, walking distance to town and food amenities. The unit had all we needed (apart from a hairdryer) was nice and clean and comfortable bedding. The dimmer lights were something special. Thanks for the wonderful accommodation.

**CAMPSITE NOW CALLED TONGARIRO JUNCTION CAMPSITE** Very unfortunate that the local marina banned Freedom Camping last month, as we had intended on making use of it. Instead, we ended up here... From the beginning we probably should have kept going and tried something closer to Tongariro National Park, but we didn't... the owner/manager was lovely, but the park itself was...

A great stay with every effort made by the new owner to cater to our needs. We have stayed here before, and were pleased to see that the new owner carries the standards and philosophy on, with some new innovations and future intentions, all of which sound positive. Definitely a positive experience, we are happy to continue our patronage here.

This place is amazing!!! The fallen unraked leaves and natural untended look is just special. The best thing that these people do is to deliberately NOT rake up these lovely colorful autumn leaves...they are what make the place soooo special!!! And I have to say, we could stay in any of a number of high-luxury big time places in nearby...

Lovely owner, good location, comfy beds, and cheap. That's all the good things unfortnatley. We stayed in the no 1 house. The rooms were not so nice. Dirty, with mysterious stains on walls, floor and curtains. Cold on the nights, and we stayed here in the summer.. If you want to take a varm shower you have to wait quite...

We spent 4 days at Club Habitat and were sadly disappointed. Tent site was noisy - traffic into the night from main road was loud and very busy. Kitchen facilities were extremely poor - stove, toaster and cookers were antiquated and questionable from a safety perspective. Floors were not cleaned during period of our stay and it was apparent that...

Travelling down with my elderly mum and dad from Auckland to Wellington for Christmas this year, we broke the journey halfway at habitat both ways, meaning we stayed two nights about a week apart. This was very successful. The surrounds are amazing, the people friendly and accomodating, and the service without fault. Clean and tidy and warm rooms with a...

Positives: Good value for money Clean accommodation and bathroom facilities Good showers Useful kitchen but fridge too cold (frozen milk on our cereal) Plentiful parking Negatives: Noise from music from somewhere preventing sleep. The main negative was the scare mongering from whom we presume was the owner. We booked through i-site with the specific requirement that our luggage could be...

We urgently needed accommodation for our son's school ski weekend and nothing was available on the mountain so this was a last minute booking. It is excellent value for money, with a good central location in Turangi. The people that run it are exceptionally friendly and kindly upgraded us at no cost. Everything is very clean and whilst not a...
