Our son has bought this property and is turning it into a beautiful private residence. Hopefully this will help to make up for some of the awful reviews and who knows what may happen in the future. We wish him and Claire well

What a truly awful establishment. I could forgive the screaming children running around, akin to a marauding army, if I didn't have to endure the smug face of the proprietor, as he lorded over his empire. Certainly enough to put a diner off of their supper ...if you're lucky enough to get what you order. Praise must be given though...

You would struggle to find worse food anywhere in England! The "chef" obviously hasn't had any training at all and he really should have learnt how to cook before being let loose in a restaurant kitchen! A microwaveable ready meal from a supermarket would put this chef's food to shame. Please don't waste your hard-earned money on this slop.

Shower head in need of serious attention. Long life milk provided for tea/coffee off Lovely setting but totally lacking in care - grass not cut, weeds in patio, hanging baskets...
