What a great place to stay. The managers are helpful and friendly and were happy to go the extra mile to help make our stay enjoyable. Good shelter and facilities. The pay for a shower was good value giving a 5 minute shower. Will happily return.

We were looking for a good holiday park in which to stay for 5 nights. We chose Carterton Holiday Park and were amazed at how such a super little camp this is. It is under new management and they are doing a marvelous job. Friendly, clean and very tidy and reasonably priced. It has 24 powered sites and these are...

We arrived in Carterton and thought we'd check out the holiday park with a view to putting up our tent or spending the night in a cabin. We were greeted in a warm and friendly manner with immediate answers to all our questions and allowed to go for a wander round before we committed to a booking. The camp sites...

Sharrie and Phil who are the new managers of the Park are just lovely. I haven't had the owners/managers of a camping ground walk around and visit before but they did that both days we were there and made sure all was well. The camping ground itself is great with hedges between each lot to give a sense of privacy....

It’s the second time we took our caravan there and it won’t be the last time. It’s clean and tidy. They’re animal friendly. A huge place to take a dog is very near by. 5 minute showers can only be taken with tokens which can be bought at reception. free 500MB wifi

Neat as a pin, very well maintained old- school motor camp. Spacious and quiet. The managers have put some thoughtful touches around the place e.g. trampoline and swing ball! My cabin the Ritz was very small but perfectly adequate for one. There was even a Ruru/Morepork in the trees at night!

The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed in a Family Unit: one room with queen bed and one set of bunks in it. The room was clean, larger than I expected. We usually stay in a motel. Having the full kitchen, dining table and chairs, plus sofa and outside table and chairs was...

We were welcomed with a smile and shown to our spacious parking spot bordered by green native shrubs to give us privacy, with a back drop of mature trees. Just beautiful and sheltered from the forecast wind. We intended to stay just two nights but reluctantly left 5 nights later! The first two days were taken up with the very...

How refreshing to find a camp site that is convenient for all the local amenities yet in such a beautiful and tranquil setting. Although the on site facilities are a little elderly, they are clean and excellently maintained by the friendly and helpful owners. Well worth the trip over the Rimutakas.
