This is a nice facility run by an uncharacteristic unfriendly manager (for sicily). For the price of approximately 180/night I got a room with a twin size bed and a small window facing an internal passage. In one of the most beutiful island in the Mediterranean I was forced to keep my window shaded as I was facing the corridor/balcony...

The rooms, staff and setting of the Aegusa Hotel were great. Tasteful decor in the local style in a hotel and restaurant constructed with the local tuft sandstone for which Favignana is famous. Good location just off the main square.

Wonderful simple hotel! Average breakfast but who cares if you have wonderful restaurants around. Rooms are big enough to dance around :) With this hotel you are in medias res, it is a good choice, close to everything. Just avoid rooms with the view on the street, parties are on till 6am :) Price was reasonable. The only thing I...

We booked Aegusa Hotel for 6 nights based on the website and reviews. It was not inexpensive - at over 3100 per night I did expect quite a lot more than we got. The entrance to the hotel is promising - it does have a "boutique" feel about it and the receptionist was very helpful at check-in. However, we were...

Arrived in the island without having reserved a place to stay. Walked in the streets and found a few hotels in the area. One room left at 16h00 so I took it. It's a small room but very cozy. The shower and toilets are very nice and the air conditioning was very welcome in 33 degrees heat. You are just...

I'd highly recommend this place, although I dont think you can go too far wrong with most hotels in the port area.. The second place we stayed was lovely too: Residence Favignana which had self catering facilities but a 10 min walk from the main squares (really not that bad!) Take ear plugs as the streets can be noisey with...
