My boyfriend and I spent three nights in La Plume D'Oie and it was a completely lovely experience. The place is small -- just four rooms -- but they are very clean and well equipped, and we had a lovely balcony with a view of the river. Our host, Mark, was extremely accommodating to our late arrival and made extra...

Thanks to Marc and his small team who looked after us so well - we had a wonderful stay. So did our two dogs! Thank you for coming to our rescue and picking us up from Domme when it started pouring with rain. Our meals were the best we have eaten in a long time and so was breakfast. Highly...

And we were not disappointed. The best meal we had in France. We used this as our base for three nights exploring the Dordogne Valley. While our room was small it was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony with a view of the river. Marc-Pierre is an excellent host and chef. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional....

The room is small but clean. A small balcony overlooks the river and the town. The bathroom is adequate, nothing too fancy. WIFI works perfectly and is free. The restaurant below is awesome - please see seperate review. There is free parking just down the road. Organising this accommodation from NZ was easy with good communication from the owners.

We join other reveiwers who have said that this small hotel provided the best food they had on holiday. This is exactly our experience too and it is getting rarer to have such a good meal in France for such a reasonable outlay. Our modestly priced room was small but clean and comfortable and it was fun to be on...

My husband and myself have spent two nights there. It is a very convenient location for touring the area on day trips. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great view. The dinner was fabulous, the best we had in this 3 weeks trip in France, amazing chef with perfect english, more than knowledgeable on the area ! No...

In every way, La Plume d'Oie was perfection. It is situated in a perfectly lovely village - the view is marvelous. Dinner was perhaps one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten. The chef/owner, Mark, clearly has magical powers with food! In addition, I found him to be beyond generous and kind. My experience in La Roque-Gageac will be...

La Roque-Cageac is a beautiful village on the banks of the Dordogne and a lovely place to visit. Our dinner at La Plume d'Oie made it even better. For a fixed price three course meal I had a massive foie gras starter followed by the best veal dish I've eaten anywhere. No one does animal cruelty quite as deliciously as...

Since many years when we drive from Switzerland to Spain we stop at Mark's Plume d'Oie and have never been disappointed. It's not because of the rooms but the excellent food. Year after year we have been positively surprised with the wonderful presentation, the combinations and perfect preparation of the dishes. Cute little restaurant, great chef and wonderful meat -...

My husband and I recently had the privilege of staying at La Plume D'Oie, in La Roque-Gageac. We were warmly greeted by Michiln star chef, and owner, Mark Walker. Our beautiful room overlooked the river, and was very comfortable. We had a private bathroom with bathtub, and a fan was provided for us as there was a heat wave during...
