We stayed at Marillia Village for two weeks at the beginning of July 2023. We had a split level apartment (2 Adults and 1 child). George and Stella were amazing at responding to all my questions/requests before we even arrived. They made sure the airport transfer was set up (I would highly recommend setting that up through them. It worked seamlessly) and arranged two separate rental car bookings for us (also incredibly easy and convenient - so much better than renting from an airport counter). From the moment we arrived we felt like we stepped into a little oasis. The landscaping is impeccable and helps to provide shade and keep everything cooler. The room was modern and spacious and very clean. Ample storage. I do wish there was a separate AC unit on the upper level as that got quite hot while the downstairs was chilly from the AC. But that's a really minor gripe. The pool area was again, clean and inviting. We never had to worry about getting an umbrella or sun lounger. Breakfast was wonderful, both in friendly service and good food. The hotel is on the smaller side, so don't expect a huge buffet. But they had everything we like and what impressed me most was that everything was in glass jars. No plastic in sight! Love it. The hotel is only a hop and a skip from the beach and about 15 min walk (along the beach) to the bus stop so you could take the bus to Fira. There are two mini-marts in walking distance as well and of course all the restaurants etc. We loved our stay and were sad to leave at the end! Thank you to everyone at Marillia Village for an incredible summer holiday!!

Amazing hotel. Perfect for a very relaxing trip. It was very chilled out, lots of space around the pool and never felt as though you were on top of anyone. Beautiful flowers all over the hotel grounds. Cleaning was great. Room exactly as advertised, split level superior room with private pool. Hotel arranged a scooter hire,35 euro for the day. Also taxi to airport for 40 euro each way. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Ate at the hotel 3 out of 4 nights as we were out during the day and it was good fresh food and reasonably priced. Really recommend if you want somewhere quiet to base yourself from. Although there were some noisy dogs and a cockerel some mornings! Still would highly recommend, I never write reviews but it’s so hard booking a hotel with so many to choose from that i felt like I needed to!!

We stayed here for our wedding and had 17 other rooms with our guests. It has been the most amazing week ever. The staff is incredible and helpful and so joyful to make sure your experience in Greece is the best it can be. The food is wonderful and the bar and hours are great for a large group. My wife wanted to invite Stella to the wedding by the end of our trip the whole staff is amazing George and Stella have been so helpful for months not just while we were here. They were such an important part of such an amazing week

Stayed at Marillia Village hotel for 7 nights in room 21 with private pool. The room was Spacious, lovely big bathroom with a walk in shower, nice comfortable bed, room cleaned and towels changed everyday. Thanks to all the staff who work hard from reception, pool bar, cleaning and maintenance. Nothing is too much trouble all very helpful. The gardens area is immaculate and the ladies were sweeping up every morning as we went to breakfast. Plenty of choices at breakfast hot and cold food selection juices, tea, coffee, fruit, yoghurts, croissants, home made cakes etc. Thank you got a wonderful stay in your beautiful hotel. If you are looking for clubs and plenty of nightlife this is not for you this was pure rest and relaxation.

A wonderful clean & well tended to place. The room we had was just off from the swimming area & breakfast location. The room was ample to our needs, with a kettle, fridge, sink, a seated area, plenty of cupboard space & a roomy bathroom. The room was cleaned, tidied & towels changed daily. Outside was a small courtyard with seating, surrounded by beautiful well manicured bougevvilla & other plants. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet style, with hot & cold food. Location is at the quieter end of the beach, which we preferred, but still close to restaurants etc. Super friendly & help staff. There are mini markets close by, tended to be more expensive. The cheapest, where the locals shop, supermarket ( Sklavenitis ) was 20 mins walk away & 10mins down from here is a lovely bakery (Santa Irini ) - try their apple cake. The walk to Ancient Thira is just up from this bakery too.

Marillia is a boutique style hotel near Perivolos beach. The hotel is clean, well maintained and beautifully designed. Breakfast is a freshly prepared, varied buffet served by the pool. There is no on site restaurant but there are many very good restaurants walkable by the beach. The staff here, particularly George and Katarina are exceptionally helpful. A car is essential unless you are happy to take taxis which are air conditioned, professional and very well organised by the hotel. An oasis of calm and professionalism on an exceptionally pretty island. I highly recommended a stay at this hotel.

I would absolutely recommend staying at Marillia Village as it is an aesthetically pleasing, well situated, friendly hotel. From start to finish, the staff provided excellent customer service and were super helpful. Everyone was extremely friendly. We had a late arrival (after 11pm which is when reception closes) and George stayed behind to accommodate us. He organised our transfer and welcomed us to the hotel, helping us with our bags. He was very informative and explained everything to us when we arrived. The breakfast here was amazing and I wish I could wake up to that more often! A menu is available until 11pm. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. House keeping slipped in and out without us noticing and left the room immaculate with fresh bedding and towels every day. The whole hotel is very clean. The beach is within a 5 minute walk of the hotel which boasts beautiful beach bars and restaurants. My friend had left her engagement ring on the last day (we were island hopping) and thankfully we came back to Santorini before departing. We called the hotel and they kept it safe for us until we got back to the island a few days later. Thank you very much for that! I have absolutely no faults with this hotel and would love to come back.

Overall a mixed experience with lots of positives but a few issues we found did affect our enjoyment. We are a 26 and 27 year old married couple from the UK. Firstly, the positives! - Setting is lovely - the flowers around the rooms and walkways are beautiful and well kept. - The location is good for the beach - only a short walk to a wide variety of bars and restaurants with lounging on the black beach. Something for everyone definitely! - The pool is good and clean and the breakfast area is modern and cosy. - There is ample free parking - We filled in check in online so we had our key seconds from arriving which was great after a long day travelling. - The staff are really friendly and do try and help as best they can with the experience Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues that let the hotel down and prevented it from being a good or great hotel - We found blood on a pillow and duvet after our second nught - we are confident it wasnt us but regardless according to the hotel sheets are changed every other day. So we left them to be changed - unfortunately it didn't happen. Later in the day once we realised the bed had been made but not changed we went to reception - he made us feel like it was our fault and housekeeping had closed at 3. All he could do was give us pillowcases and sheets to put on ourselves. This wasn't the response we expected at all. Later he bought some wine after my wife explained she didn't expect to change sheets on her birthday but it still left us a bit annoyed. We found overall throughout our stay the cleaning of the room was poor - we found other stains on bedding which was then just made and not replaced and there didn't appear to be any thorough cleaning of surfaces. - The AC - on 2 nights we were woken up by an extremely strange noise from the AC unit - it vibrated the whole room and made a pulsing electrical sound - we also think another rooms unit did the same thing and it kept us awake for a couple of hours. We called the number and spoke to staff the next day and again they tried to help but insisted it wasn't the AC and was just a branch or something in the wind. I had a video which you could clealry hear it was an electrical noise - it couldn't be replicated but we are confident it will happen to future guests and it was again the response that was disappointing. - Breakfast was okay but nothing more. Despite the management images, the selection was not great. Only orange juice was available and basic coffee. There was egg, bacon and sausage as well as fruit pastries and a cold selection which was lovely but is also expected at this price point. The canteloupe melon was hit or miss - sometimes really mushy as thought it had been frozen. There were some attempts to have other items which sometimes were good but other times were really poor such as supermarket biscuits dipped in chocolate or "bruchetta" which was a piece of bread with a bit of cheese and ham on top. After a few days, we were pretty disappointed to see the same things everyday and struggled to enjoy it. - The pool - has stained all of our swimwear green - we dont know what in the water caused it but we know it came from the pool as we had multiple sets which were only used there and all had the same result. The green stain could also be found on the side of the pools. There are also not enough sunbeds at full capacity and not enough shade - you're not allowed the umbrellas up usually as it's extremely windy - this caused tension at times with other guests. - The room - a few little things were very frustrating. The shutters had to be wedged with a sock to fully close. The WiFi reception was poor a majority of the time. The bathroom window would bang unless the lock was kept at a certain angle (not fully closed). The toilet roll holder wouldn't stay up and dropped it. And then the shower was in fact bright orange! The management picture of the shower we realised is actually in black and white to keep in theme - we think that's quite naughty and misleading really. We've given 3 stars because TripAdvisor considers that to be average which was exactly what our stay was. We had a great time in Santorini overall and the stay was okay but we really feel like the hotel although on the surface looks great and has so much potential, but really needs some finessing to bring it up to a good or a great standard. We are glad to see so many positive reviews and maybe if we had a room with the plunge pool we would have not faced some of the challenges, but for our stay, this was our experience.

What a fantastic place, small, quiet and relaxing. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Apartment rooms are clean and modern. Pool area and bar are very nice. Its literally a 5 minute walk from the beach and lots and lots of restaurants. We were sad to leave and cant wait to return one day.
