We had our wedding at Villa San Crispolto in October and it was without a doubt the best week of my life. Marco and Juna really went above and beyond to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible, from the moment I arrived I felt that everything was taken care of for us and that I didn't have anything to worry about. 28 of our friend and family were able to stay at the villa with us and could not be more complimentary, all had a wonderful time, they and our day guests all said that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I cannot thank Marco and the team enough for such a magical experience.

Visited for a family wedding, the place is perfectly suited for such events offering a spectacular setting. With amazing grounds, rooms/suites, views and pool, it was perfect for hosting a large event with around 8 apartments which offers flexibility for most sized family groups…..just lovely

From a young girl I had dreams of celebrating my special day with all my family and friends with a wonderful romantic backdrop of Italy. When I got engaged, I set to finding the perfect venue. My mother sent me a link to ‘Romantic Itallian wedding’s (RIW)’ and thank God she did. We went out to see the venue in the October and from the moment we arrived in Passignano Sul Trassimeno I knew this was the place. The small town is built along a stunning lake front. The local community are very friendly and welcoming. The small town has so much charm and beauty to offer the guests. However, the feeling I had driving up to the venue, down the scenic driveway and finally seeing the villa is a memory I will treasure forever. Anyone who dreams of an Italian wedding of dreams should look no further than Villa San Crispolto. The Villa is situated on the top of a hill with panoramic views of Lake Trassimeno. Every way you turn your head is a new view breath taking view to see. The grounds are surrounded by numerous traditional olive trees and highly perfumed flowers. All your senses are in for a treat here. The buildings are rustic history reinvented. They provide the ultimate luxury and comfort for such an occasion. The Wedding suite is something to behold. A two-storey romantic hideaway with luxury finishes. The villa is split into apartments. The venue is the perfect size that everyone has their own space and privacy but can dip into the large group activities when it suits. The new pergola is the cherry on the cake. It seats such a large group and has the lake view as your backdrop. We celebrated the pizza and prosecco night and our hog roast/pasta party there. Guests were blown away by the atmosphere and views. We got married at the Garden Temple located at the villa. This was perfect for us. It meant the whole day was based at the villa and we could all relax from start to finish. I can’t explain how perfect this venue is for your wedding. You will only need to visit the place to appreciate that this truly is an Italian gem. If you are lucky enough to get married here it is one decision, I personally know you will never regret. RIW is not special it’s outstanding. From the moment I booked our date the support, kindness, and professionalism we received was amazing. I was nervous about planning a wedding abroad with the distance and perceived lack of control, but this couldn’t be further from the reality. You are involved in every little decision and concerns are addressed immediately. The 8-step plan made the organising a bitesize dream. Every aspect was finetuned and easy to understand. Every time a new step opened, I got excited about planning the next instalment. There is nothing that isn’t thought about by the team. On arrival, the team are there to greet you. The team are a real asset to RIW. There is nothing that is too much trouble to organise. They are always on hand with phone calls and very active WhatsApp groups to address any issues or concerns as soon as possible (Villa staff /Flowers/Music/Hair & Make-up). We met with Marco and his team on the second day to discuss all the final details. This meeting put all my anxieties to rest. Every detail was discussed and confirmed. Marco is a true perfectionist and every couple’s perfect confidante. His enthusiasm and care for each couple is evident from the moment you meet him. This company really is exceptional. I cannot recommend this company and their staff enough. Over the week the staff become close friends and are there to enjoy your special day and ensure everything runs to plan. I can honestly say that on the day I didn’t have a single worry. Everything ran so smoothly. It really was my dream in motion. I will never be able to thank the team enough for our truly magnificent day. The wine offer is a wonderful addition. The bottles sent prior to the wedding provides a little flavour of the amazing events that are about to happen. The wine is beautiful, and we received many compliments about the locally sourced product. The wine available in this offer means that all guests have plenty to satisfy their needs. The wine is placed on the wedding tables and replenished immediately. No guest ever had an empty glass. The offer also means that there is enough of wine to accompany your other events such as the Hog roast/pasta party. Bottoms up!…

Planning a wedding is not an easy process but right from the beginning Romantic Italian Weddings made it such a simple and enjoyable process! What helped us in choosing this venue was that RIW offer great packages as we knew right from booking how much we were spending. And we did have the opportunity to upgrade on a few things along the way. Alexandra was always available via email or video call to answer all my questions and was so kind and helpful! When we all arrived at the villa for our wedding week our family were in awe by the villa, it’s setting and the incredible views! The villa itself is stunning, each room unique to eachother and so traditionally Italian with a modern twist. The whole week was so unforgettable, Marco and his team are amazing at what they do! A special thank you to Juna, the venue manager who along with Marco ensured our wedding day was absolutely seamless and we trusted them completely with every aspect! Our experience of the week was nothing short of exceptional. From arrival and throughout, we could not fault Marco and his team, who were attentive and overall outstanding. I could not recommend this venue enough should anyone be considering this for their wedding. We all had an amazing week, not only because it was our daughter's wedding, but because Marco and his team, made this an amazing one. Thank you to Marco and the team, for which memories were made and will be remembered for ever.

This is my experience... Deciding where to get married is a huge decision to make, from the beginning we knew we wanted to do this abroad (we live in England), somewhere romantic and intimate. So where is more romantic than Italy, a country full of love, beauty and amazing food! So, the search began to find the venue. When we started to look, I kept reading reviews of how difficult it was to plan a wedding in Italy, with trying to arrange caterers, photographs, hair, makeup, flowers etc remotely. Also everything seemed so expensive. Then one day I stumbled across the website for ‘Romantic Italian Weddings’ firstly I read the packages and thought that sounds great, I then looked at the villas and thought, this has to be out of our price range! When I saw the price of the package total, I thought it was too good to be true. But guess what it really is everything it says and more!! From the very beginning Marco and his team make every step of planning easy and enjoyable. The selection of contacts they have to choose from for every aspect of your wedding is great. Add into all of this the unbelievable amount of beautiful wine and beer you get within your package, you honestly cannot go wrong! When we arrived at the Villa it exceeded our expectations once more, Villa San Crispolto is a truly special place! Again, Marco and his team went above and beyond at every opportunity, making our stay and wedding day too perfect to put into words! The day we left we were filled with so much emotion, as ever part of the Villa and grounds seemed to hold a special individual memory. Jade and I started our search for an Italian wedding by looking through google and holding zoom meetings with wedding planners who specialised in weddings abroad, but this search didn’t provide us with the perfect solution we had always dreamt of. We were then recommended your services by a couple who had got married in Villa San Crispolto a year earlier. Right from our very first zoom call with you, we realised Romantic Italian Weddings and Villa San Crispolto was the right choice for us. You covered off absolutely everything we needed to know to fill us with confidence and even highlighted important points that we hadn’t thought about. We made the decision to book our wedding within 24 hours of this first call. Once booked, we flew out to stay in the area for a few days, met with your team to run through the finer details and look round the venue for the first time. I remember this day well because we were both absolutely blown away by the beauty of the property and the grounds, it all felt very real! Between our visit and the wedding week, we regularly interacted with your online portal which allowed us to be flexible by making amendments to different packages and find the options that represented the best value for money. What I really liked about the portal is that it leaves no stone unturned and covers off absolutely every little detail meaning we didn’t need to suddenly wake up in the middle of the night panicking that we may have missed something. The wedding week itself exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We met with you and your team 3 times and did a complete run through of the wedding to make sure everyone knew exactly what they were doing. I found this especially helpful to see what would be happening on the day. We were blown away by the level of organisation and high standards you and your team demonstrate at all times, this takes so much stress and worry away from us giving us more time to spend enjoying the week with our friends. The wedding day was absolutely magical and went perfectly in every way possible. Even when we had the worry of a thunderstorm just before the wedding, your team dealt with everything quickly and in a militant fashion. Its taken me a month to write this review, purely as I needed to make sure my review was a perfect as the week we have just had at Villa San Crispolto. It was by far the most amazing week we have ever had. Romantic Italian Weddings went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The 8 steps planning is clear and concise and guides you through the whole proces. Every question is answered and even things I thought I could do better, I couldn't!! I had similar concerns to a previous review about planning from another country and being a bit of a control freak, I wished I hadnt worried at all, they have every tiny detail covered. The Villa is amazing, kept beautifully by Bruno who is always on hand with a smile for any queries and help you may need. The pool is lovely and everyone is missing the pool terribly. Juno is lovely and keeps everything running perfectly and is available all week for food orders, help and anything else you may need. Alexandra was brilliant in the months leading up to the wedding. My hair and makeup was done by Monia for the wedding day and I was so so pleased. My flowers by Christina were perfect and the comments Ive had about the pictures of the flowers have been nothing but complimentary. The food was perfect, We opted for the catering by Renata for the wedding meal and it was by far the nicest food we have ever had and they catered perfectly for everyone. We were put in contact with Fabrizio for our transfers as there was 32 of us to come down from Rome, he again went above and beyond to organise this for us and was on hand all week for various transfers. Then there is Marco, his attention to detail is astounding, the way he involved the whole family on our wedding day will leave us with some of the most special memories we could ever have. The Karaoke and Hog roast evening was so much fun and a fantastic addition to the week. The wine tasting with Christina was brilliant, she knows everything there is to know about wine, we are still swirling our glasses and smelling every glass!! The wine offer is fantastic, you will NOT finish all your wine - we tried!! Ciao Ciao was great, the Pizza and food delivery was used numerous times throughout the week and was always perfect, it was also a brilliant venue for a stag night and farewell meal. The shuttle to and from was excellent. I feel I have still not done this Villa and company justice, we really can not put into words how amazing it was, I only wish we could get married annually (too each other - lol). This is my experience... Villa San Crispolto and the staff at RIW were exceptional. Planning an out of the Country wedding can be difficult and Marco, et.al made the process worry free. The 8 steps helped make it easier so plan and not be overwhelming. Marco has every detail covered and works with you to make a dream wedding. Being from America and 2 extremely busy individuals, we were unable to visit beforehand and we put our faith in RIW-and they did not disappoint! From the majestic views, the authentic rustic feel of Italy in each of the Villas to the incredible food, wine and nightly activities made the wedding week one of the best of our lives. The attention to detail is superb and I highly recommend scheduling all the activities available - Maria Rita’s pasta night blended a friendly dinner with exceptional local fare. Pizza, Prosecco and karaoke - was such a fun time, with real musicians entertaining us as we sang all the classics. They even let one of our family members that play guitar come up and play! Made it even more memorable !! There are no words to describe wine tasting with the fabulous Cristina - her knowledge and vibrant personality even taught us new distinctions within wines and our connection was magical - she will be a forever friend!! And do not skip a night at Ciao Ciao disco!! The breakfasts and BBQ were exceptional as well. As for the wedding event itself - no detail was less than perfect! Juna was an incredible event manager . Monia, so kind and gifted with hair and make-up. And the flowers were beyond my expectations with Cristina the florist. The flowers created an atmosphere that blended in with the Tuscan nature but stood out to create a magical day. And then there’s Marco …. He fulfilled every request we had and went above and beyond our expectations - he put us and our needs at the forefront of the week connecting us with Fabrizio, as a driver, amazing massage recommendations, food and drink and any other need we had was fulfilled! We were so amazed at his kindness, and his ability to handle all situations magnificently. His hospitality and that of all of his staff are beyond comparison! Connections and people are what life’s about and RIW delivers on both so much that we toasted Marco himself at our reception! The wine portion is more than one group can consume - and we tried!!! Great table wines in both the red and white as well as the Prosecco added a great touch - we never worried about running out of beer or wine the entire week! It is beyond generous to include so much within the package! There really isn’t one negative comment I could write about RIW. We made forever friends and even get a little sad seeing the pictures from other weddings that followed ours- RIW, made us feel so much like family that we keep wishing we could relive the dream our week was.
