We stayed with Claude & Pauline over the Christmas break, everything is as all the other reviews say, they were both so welcoming and have renovated the accommodation to an amazingly warm, cosy, comfortable, high standard, The one thing you want after a day on the slopes is a comfortable bed, well they certainly were. Nothing is to much trouble,...

Having just returned from 10 days in les Carroz, I realise I couldn't have picked a better place to stay for my first visit to this part of the world, than La Bergerie. My hosts, Claude and Pauline, were so hospitable. They have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere in their beautiful Haute Savoie home. Within easy walking distance of the...

La Bergerie is an old farmhouse renovated to a very high standard by the owner and host, Claude. So much wood! Our party of three stayed there for a late-season skiing holiday. The en-suite rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Home-made jams for breakfast! Staying there was like becoming part of the family for the week. Claude and partner Pauline...

We stayed in La Bergerie for a long weekend mid Jan15, it was recommended by a friend who had stayed previously & we certainly weren't disappointed. It is run by Claude & Pauline who make you feel right at home from the moment you meet them, we stayed in L'aigles room which has large double bed (very comfy) & a...

We stayed at Claude's little palace for the third time now, this time with our two kids and my parents. In one word: perfect!! Again. Claude's hospitality, the breakfast, the comfortable rooms (and bed!!), the service (Claude made reservations for all the restaurants we wanted to visit), the location... it can't be topped. This will definitely not be the last...

We (2 couples) had a very nice stay at La Bergerie. Communication with Claude (the owner of la Bergerie) prior to and also after booking was extremely welcoming and open. He demonstrated a high degree of flexibility facing some last minute changes we had to make. The hospitality of Claude and Pauline was 'high level', something you can impossibly live...

We have stayed in La Bergerie few times and each time Claude has welcomed us warmly to his B&B. Breakfast is plenty enough to us. In this place you feel like part of the family. Claude helps you with what ever you need. Slopes are easy to reach by bus. Les Carroz is very nice ski area and there are...

Chalet Bergerie is a typical old Savoyard building - beautiful and has been lovingly restored. All booking arrangements were easily made including Claude personally meeting us at Geneva airport. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we were made to feel part of the family. Rooms were very comfortable and tastefully furnished plus (and very important) the shower...

La Bergerie has all the basic ingredients for a nice place to stay that other reviewers have mentioned - beautifully converted barn, well-appointed rooms, warm, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, good breakfast, central but quiet location, right by a ski bus stop, etc. But the thing that shines through most is the welcome and hospitality of Claude. Staying in...

We took a short skiing trip with friends and their kids, a total of 10 of us... La Bergerie accomodated us all perfectly with nicely appointed rooms, clean and well furnished. We were on a B+B basis and the breakfast was a really relaxed affair and a perfect start to a days skiing in one of the nicest ski areas...
