This is a classic Chinese style four star, with enough amenities to make the Western traveler comfortable. The hotel is a "fading glory" but they are in the process of constructing the new version. Shower is OK - bath towel is exceptional. The bed was very firm (not my preference). Good breakfast buffet. Easy walk to downtown. I stayed on... More

If you are a visiting this area of china don't expect a lot of english language, but you can get by, the hotel is very good and offers fantastic food, the Tesco supermarket is across the road for the people who wish to have some western supplies, its a great city to visit.

Happy with our stay. It offered all that you would expect in a hotel. Only challenge was some of the staff had limited English but that wasn't a problem as we were traveling with a friend who spoke the local language . Sure there is traffic noise but I just got use to it. Compared to what you hear when... More

Expect nothing of an international 4-star hotel but for China standard the hotel is alright. We stayed at the new wing and the standard of the room is acceptable, the bed is average and in general the room seems quite clean. One thing that bothered me is that the shower curtain stinks and the whole bathroom had this weird smell... More

First, let me explain one thing to travelers to China PRC. Your not in a western country anymore Toto. The major cities will have the hotels that will serve western food. The outling cities try to catch up. I might add that they will cater to your needs better than any other country in the world, it is the asian... More

“We stayed on the 3rd level above reception. Only had stairs (which I didn't mind as I neded the exercise with all the eating we were doing!). But if that is a problem for you request room in other wing which I would assume would have lifts as it is a high rise building.”
