This small independent hotel is great! From the friendly welcome ,clean and comfortable rooms Staff who are attentive I have read some other reviews on this hotel that are less than complimentary . I have stayed in hundreds of hotels including the large well known groups both for business and pleasure and I can honestly say I'd choose this one...

It was an absolute pleasure to look after you and the Family and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future. Kind Regards, Daniel &...

This should be a very nice hotel but, as another reviewer has commented, it is a B&B at best and no way should it be 4*. The image given of the bedroom did not match my experience at all (standard small room with a very normal double-bed) and, while the front of house team were actually very nice and seemed...

Dear James, Thank you for taking the time to share such a frank and honest review, although disappointing to hear negative comments we do greatly appreciate it so that we can address them to ensure we put it right moving forward. Having reviewed your feedback with the Team is it clear to me that we did not live up to...

This is advertised as a boutique hotel, but at best it's a nice B&B. The rooms are OK to be fair to them, conformable beds and clean. People keep going on about the fantastic shower, have they never been in a power shower before, honestly! I was in a room at the front of the hotel above the entrance and...

Dear Jamie, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Please accept our apologies in regards to the Boiler noise, following your feedback we contacted our engineers the same day and determined the source of the noise was a faulty Heater Pump which was replaced the same day rectifying the issue. We will always do everything we can...

I wanted to find a home from home where myself or other family and friends could stay regularly when visiting relatives nearby. This is it ! The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have everything you need (including tea-making, plenty of sockets, large tv, iron available) with en suites that are new and gleaming and great showers. You are...

We arrived & were warmly greeted by Rory who told us we had been upgraded to a king size bedroom which was wonderful. The room was large, spacious, fabulous bathroom & very cosy. It's advertised a "boutique" establishment but to me the rooms had the same décor, having looked in my cousin's bedroom. On a practical note & it's not...

I stayed here for 2 nights while on training in Guildford. After a busy week, I was hopeful for a bit of peace. I was not disappointed. My room overlooked the garden with a water feature and was very quiet. The shower was brilliant, you have to try it. The bed was comfy and I found myself falling asleep super...

This visit was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was to a good standard with the chef making deviations from the menu to suit my requirements. The bar is run on a "trust" system with guests simply writing down what drinks had been consumed against their respective room number. I would definitely stay again when back...

Great little hotel. Well positioned. Very clean and staff cant do enough to help. If I could have only one small criticism I would put a desk fan in the downstairs room as can get very hot unless you have window open which backs onto the garden. But security wise would of liked to of left that closed. Amazing shower...
