We visited the Greyhound Inn for Sunday Lunch. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 babies. The Restaurant is bright and stylish but still maintains the feel of an old coaching house, there is a lovely real fire just as you walk in. The service was excellent and very accommodating as we had young children. The meals were...

Stayed here for one evening with 5 colleagues (taking up nearly all of the rooms in the hotel...) before a very important day of meetings and presentations. After a really good dinner in the restaurant, we went to bed. Unlike other reviewers, we weren't disturbed by a function, but by the faulty fire alarm system. The first time at around...

I am really sorry you had a disturbed night. Our fire alarm procedure is to silence and investigate and reset if it was a false alarm. We will of course answer any guest calls but are reluctant to phone rooms to announce a false alarm as that may wake people who have gone back to sleep. It is very unusual for...

Stayed here 11/11/16 for two nights. Party of 7 of us, we were down to watch the England v Scotland game and made it a weekend. Location is fab, taxi to the train station and that takes you direct to Wembley, in 15/20 minutes. The staff from arrival to departure were all polite and efficient. The rooms were clean, and...

Had a Sunday lunch here with my wife and some friends. Excellent food and service all round. The lamb roast was a winner, with the vegetables being especially tasty. The service really stood out. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. It was a very enjoyable experience. Will come again.

Perfect location for the William Gower Centre and the breakfast is fantastic. Rooms a little dated but lovely bar area with cosy seats in front of the fire and rustic charm. Service is good. No food in the evening after 6pm on a Sunday.

Really enjoyed my visit. Stayed in the king room (room 6). The room was spacious and beautiful! Wooden beams, king size bed and a huge bathroom. Staff were very happy to help and accommodating with a relaxed check in and no deposit needed before the stay just card details. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening- food was...

I’m never too sure why this specific restaurant is almost deserted when we visit. Perhaps it’s because it was a Monday evening or that there are so many good eateries in the area to choose. We were a table of five and sat at a round table close to the fireplace. The drinks order was taken immediately and the mains...

I'm staggered by the mediocre reviews of this place. We had an excellent Sunday lunch here. The menu was nothing particularly ground-breaking but what they offered was cooked excellently, the roast beef and burger were both delicious, and the children's options were good too. Service was really friendly, and the restaurant is really nicely done out and separated from the...

We really appreciate your support. We have made some changes in the kitchen and the food is definitely returning to the style and standard we want. We want to deliver pub food with fresh ingredients and do it well. It sounds from your reaction as though we are back on track. Peter

Stayed here last night after being bought buyagift voucher. Chose here as close to Marlow etc Almost pointless posting review as know management will say same as they have done to other posters but don't seem to have listened. Positive - Clean room. Wooden beams in room. Comfy beds. Negative - Extremely loud music below us as there was a...

Clearly this should have been handled better - you should have been contacted prior to the stay and informed there was a party on. I do apologise and will talk to our team there. Could you please contact me on peter.stlawrence@thecrownamersham.com Peter

We had drinks in here. Beer was good but atmosphere dark, a little cramped and dated but guess that's its charm. We could not see menus so unsure about the food but it was a nice 30 minute drink with sons and grand father.
