A small development of lodges each overlooking a picturesque lake, affords visitors a safe and secure environment to enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday or short break. We have 1 and 2 bedroom lodges, all with Private Outdoor Hot Tubs and either Four poster or Floating beds.Perfect for both romantic getaways or family breaks. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Superb as always, so peaceful and relaxing, beautiful place, gorgeous ultra clean cabins and grounds, we have stayed here at least a dozen times and have never been let down. Super, private hot tubs and superb free fishing, love it. We have tried other places but none can compare to yellowtop. We have booked again for our wedding anniversary in July, can’t wait

Second stay at Yellowtop and can highly recommend. Luxurious lodges with hot tub and excellent fishing in the lake. Very peaceful for rest and relaxation , can also be used as a good base for York. We have booked for next year.

Another wonderful stay at Yellowtop Country Park After the hassles caused by a major card firm who decided not to deliver my wife’s valentines card and flowers there was only one place I could take her to get back in the good books and yellowtop certainly didn’t disappoint it so peaceful and we was even greeted by the ducks The staff are excellent and the lady who helps with the bookings has all the patience in the world dealing with us change our minds multiple times in which lodge to try next this must of been our seventh visit and already can’t wait to return Thank you Yellowtop and keep up the amazing work you do

Had a last minute 1 night stay in lodge 20, it was absolutely stunning, the lodge has a huge outdoor space, really good hot tub, seperate lounge and kitchen area and 2 double bedrooms with ensuite. We have stayed at yellowtop many times but this lodge has quickly become our favourite!

This was our 10th visit to Yellowtop. We've stayed in various lodges and each one has been perfect. The lodges are equipped with everything you need and the hot tubs just makes the perfect getaway! I would absolutely recommend a visit. Can't wait to book again.

Absolutely stunning, the most idyllic place I've ever been to. The first time we came was Feb 2022 just after loosing my Mother and father in law. It now feels like our special place and we plan on visiting every year around the same time (and more inbetween if we get the chance) we had a slight issue with the bathroom door and someone was there to assist within minutes. If you are looking for a relaxing get away then this is the place to be.

We just love it here. We’ve stayed in Britannia Petite & Havana. This time it was Havana. Within an hour of arriving we was in the hot tub…. instant relaxation. Obviously at this time of year it’s cold but the little run from hot tub to inside is worth it. Once indoors the lodge is warm & cosy. We take dvds to watch & we cook & talk & really enjoy each others company away from the hum drum of life & the lodge is perfectly laid out to enable this.. open plan living. The kitchen is well equipped & has a dishwasher too. There is a nice walk in hot shower in the big bathroom. Into the bedroom and wow just wow. A four poster amazingly comfy bed. It’s cosy & warm & we was reluctant to get out in the morning but how refreshing to get up, shower & jump in the hot tub. This for us is what it is all about. We do have a walk round the grounds to feed the ducks & swans & look for eggs for breakfast in the hen house. We waved at the maintenance guys but we saw nobody else … just perfect. See you again soon.

This is our 7th visit to yellowtop and it truly is a tranquil place to relax and be at one with nature. It never disappoints we stayed in wild oats 9 on this visit the lodge as ever was spotless and well presented always full equipped I particularly like the different decor in each lodge it is to a high standard. Hot tub is a extra bonus. Staff are really friendly always stop for a chat the grounds are well maintained and there is plenty of wildlife. Will be returning as we love this place ❤️
