We stayed for 3 nights in Lodge 5. A comfy, cosy lodge and we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable; lodge was warm. The site was so peaceful, beautiful views across the lake from the lounge/dining area. There was no noise during the evenings either. The site is small, a short walk around the lake and it is along a main road so we didn't venture out for a walk beyond the site, but perhaps in the Summer months, with lighter evenings this may be possible. The hot tub was great although the one comment I would make is that it is outside the front door, rather than accessible via the living area, and no view across the lake. It would be great if it could be re-positioned further towards the front of the lodge with an access from the patio doors. Top tip - take a floor mat (bath mat/towel) to have in the entrance hall when coming in from the hot-tub. You can borrow DVDs from the site office, a great selection available. We really enjoyed a relaxing stay and would love to return to try out another of the lodges. Would also love to try the large lodge towards the back of the site as a big group of friends/family. We used the takeaway in the village, and it was good - no complaints. Thank you Yellowtop for a lovely break.

Have just returned from a 4 night stay at yellow top park and it was wonderful. We stayed in lodge 15 because we took our spaniel with us and from the moment we opened the door we loved it. Lots of space ,very homely , four poster bed was great and the views over the lake were amazing. We all loved the hot tub especially my 12 yr old daughter. We used it a couple of times a day but the best was of a night time looking up at the stars. The lodge has everything you need and free wifi was a bonus. You can order take aways from some places and they will deliver to you (we didn't bother but option there if you want it) and you can even visit the hen hotel and get fresh eggs for breakfast if there are any, daughter was a little disappointed as she went up at different times and never found any but suppose it's just luck . We went on some lovely woodland walks with our dog, visited the villages of howden and pocklington and went into bridlington for the day which was an hour drive. Will definitely be back and have already recommended to family as my dad and father in law would love the fishing in the lake. Cant wait to book return visit. A lovely place very quiet, relaxing and tranquil thank you.

Myself and my boyfriend have just had the most peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway in this beautiful park. We stayed in lodge 9 and it was so spacious and clean, with a huge 4 poster kingsize bed, big hot tub, beautiful scenery and surroundings and had fresh eggs to help yourselves too from the chickens 'hotel'. Plenty of places to visit (museums, shopping, places to eat, country walks, ect.) We will be booking again soon, and I would highly recommend this park to anyone thinking of booking, it's worth every penny!
