We have just returned from 2 weeks at Yellowtop.
This has been our 4th week here in 2024 and 24+ weeks over the years
We have already booked 4 weeks for 2025👍 Do you think we like it here ? we love it ❤️
On to the review :- Big Thank You to Diane the owner for providing, improving and allowing us to holiday in this special place 👍
Laura and Sam in reception who are always the nicest people to deal with 👍
Larissa and the housekeeping team who always ensure OUR lodge is ready for us and always immaculately clean👍
Andy and the maintenance team for maintaining the lodges and the grounds👍(Please cut back some of the branches overhanging the fishing area to the right of Harvest1 🙏 before we come back in April and it starts to spoils my fishing🤞🎣)
We have forged friendships with these people which ensures it always feels like ‘coming home’ when we arrive.
The fishing as always was great, watching and being amongst the wild life fills lots of hours while sat outside the lodge and we had the pleasure of meeting, feeding and photographing Suzi swan when she came to visit Sydney🪿 (unfortunately she has moved on now😔)
Beautiful location but near enough to great pubs for lunch and lots of places of interest, York, Beverley, Selby, etc.
Already looking forward to returning next April.
Alan + Bryony. Burnley.

This was the first time at Yellowtop, although stayed at Still rabbits a few times.
Yellowtop was booked as I was taking my two grown up daughters and 2 year old granddaughter. We book Harvest Plus 8, this was a 2 bedroomed lodge with lovely views of the lake, it was also far enough away that my granddaughter was able to run and play on the grass.
The lodge itself was really clean and well furnished, very comfortable in all the rooms with all the equipment that you could need, there was extra bin bags, foils, kitchen roll; all the things you tend to forget!
The walks in the area are lovely and it is so peaceful.
The hot tub is at the side of the lodge but with double patio doors at the front of the lodge it is easy to slip out without being seen!
We dont need an excuse to return to these lodges, however next time will be just me and the hubby for some proper R&R!!
Staff on the site are really friendly and helpful
Thank you for another wonderful trip and we will see you soon!

Myself and my boyfriend have just had the most peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway in this beautiful park. We stayed in lodge 9 and it was so spacious and clean, with a huge 4 poster kingsize bed, big hot tub, beautiful scenery and surroundings and had fresh eggs to help yourselves too from the chickens 'hotel'.
Plenty of places to visit (museums, shopping, places to eat, country walks, ect.)
We will be booking again soon, and I would highly recommend this park to anyone thinking of booking, it's worth every penny!

We stayed for one night in wild oats 9. Wow it was gorgeous and totally bigger then what I expected. It was clean and cosy and very welcoming. The place of the hot tub was great very private and we were able to use it until early hours with music without disturbing anyone else.
The bed was huge!
We looked out over the gardens and lake and took a short walk around the site everyone said hello and it felt so lovely.

I toom some basic things like dish cloth, washing up liquid and was extremely surprised to see it was already there as well as tea/coffee basket. It's those little things that make it so much more special.

Can't wait to visit again and hopefully for longer!

Just returned from a couple of nights at Still Rabbit Lodges and enjoyed every minute.

We stayed in Britannia Petite which is the most private of all the Lodges, situated off its own little lane. The lodge is nicely decorated, is clean and includes all the kitchen utensils and appliances you will need for your stay. To say that this is the smaller lodge it is still a really good size, especially the bedroom with a king size bed and if is really spacious.

The hot tub, patio and decking area are the highlights of this lodge. It is perfect to relax in the hot tub at night and enjoy looking up at the stars. In the day time, the decking area has a little sun for those of you like me who enjoy tanning time. My boyfriend loved that the hot tub was shaded for most of the afternoon, getting a little sun later on.

Yellow top Country Park is quiet and great for a relaxing weekend. We took a stroll around the lake in the sunshine and stumbled upon the chickens and ducks which are a great addition to the site. We didn't really venture out but if you are looking for walking trails, pubs and restaurants, all of this information is provided in your welcome pack.

The only thing I would want to warn people of is the size of the fridge. It is quite small and we had quite a lot of food and drink and couldn't quite fit it all in so just be careful how much you take and what you are wanting to keep cool.

Myself and partner will more certainly be returning and will be recommending still rabbit lodges to our family and friends.
Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Our first weeks holiday back at YellowTop following Corvid lockdown and what a fantastic relief it was to be back.
The owner has spent lots of money and her team have worked really hard and have improved what was already a stunning holiday location.
We stay in Harvest 1 which has had a new Hottub area and new bathroom/wet room installed, it lovely, look after it, I treat it like my own.
Can’t wait to go back for 2 more weeks in September.
See you then.

My wife discovered Yellowtop on Facebook and we’ve now visited on two occasions. The first time was just the wife and myself in June 2019, most recently with my wife, son and his wife.
The lodges are sumptuously decorated and the beds are very comfortable. All of the lodges have hot tubs set in privately screened areas. Free Wi-fi is on site.
The park itself has a fishing lake as it’s centrepiece and if you like fishing you’ll be very happy. We used the park as a base to see the highlights of the area as it’s in close driving distance of York, Beverley and Hull as well as some lovely smaller market towns.
We spent some days just relaxing in the tub and lounging in the lodge - enjoying the peaceful, tranquility of the park.
We would recommend this park to anyone.

Whilst this is a beautiful location and the cabin was lovely I am disappointed at the service from their staff when the whole country was placed in lock down following the crisis with the Covid-19 pandemic. We booked for a few nights as a very small consolation when our Bali holiday was cancelled at the last minute. The news broke that the country was in lock down and that non essential travel was stopped. I questioned the staff at the site who informed me that although the site was now closed, we could stay until the end of our trip and then return home. I challenged this as how could we stay at the site when it was closed amidst the situation with the Covid-19 lock down. I was told that we could stay as we were able to return at the end of our trip despite the whole country being instructed to stay at home! This contravened the whole lock down scenario and what we were hearing on the news. I asked what staff were at the site, only to be told that all staff were working from home! Presumably because their safety and well-being was more important than the customers? The only person on site was the handyman who was there for Health & Safety reasons! We stayed for one night due to the lock down and I asked for a refund on the other 2 nights we were due to stay for only to be told that as we could stay until the end of the trip they couldn't do this. How can a site be closed yet still be running? This isn't a complaint about the location, this is a complaint about the staff and how they handle aftercare and safety in a crisis.

In response to your comments, we would like to express our disagreement about your comments and that we do take our customers safety seriously. The lockdown announcement was made on the day of your arrival. Other guests arriving the same day as you made the decision to go straight home and not even stay for 1 night. This was absolutely fine and these guests were fully refunded. You made the decision to stay for 1 night, regardless of the fact that lockdown had been issued nationwide. We were in contact with the local council to find out what the options were for guests already staying on site. Yes we had to cease any incoming bookings from arriving, but people on site, like yourselves, were able to complete their stay, and make their “essential travel” home on their departure. In regards to customer safety, unlike hotels, we are self isolated log cabins. There is no need to come into contact with anybody, whether this be customers or staff on site. Which is one reason why guests keep coming back to us. Staying on site for the duration of your stay wouldn’t have put you in any more danger than being at home. Our maintenance man was able to carry on working as he lives onsite. Despite the fact that lockdown was enforced, there were still people on site, who had decided to fulfil their entire stay. These guests couldn’t just be abandoned. Staff that were able to work from home, such as office staff, worked from home. Not because their health is more important than guests on site, but to restrict any possible interaction amongst staff and guests and to comply with the governments lockdown advice. If none of our staff lived on site we would have had no option but to ask all guests to leave immediately, which would have caused additional stress in an already fraught situation. All guests onsite at the time were contacted via the phone and were given the appropriate information and contact details for the remainder of their stay.

The four of us stayed in Harvest Lodge 15 for two nights at end of October.

The lodge was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean and it's own private hot-tub is perfectly placed for privacy and relaxing under the stars.

Very comfy and relaxing and made for a perfect base to a 40th birthday weekend with the bubbly going down we'll to celebrate.

Would definitely recommend and come back to stay and there are nice villages nearby for food if you fancy venturing out (Bubwith, White Swan for example).

Thanks a lot from Stacey and Dave & Dawn & Rob.
