Had a couple nights here whilst working in the area. Very comfortable stay and carol the host was great. Nothing to walk to local for food or drink so a 5or6 minute drive is needed. Lovely pub down the road called the green man with stunning views from the terrace/garden. Definitely would stay again and if you’re looking to book a place before jetting off from Luton , Look no further (4km) away and I believe Carol can arrange parking for £5 a day while your away. Thank you carol for a pleasant stay
Such a beautiful stay at the Lodge Farm House. Me and my partner stayed for two nights to attend a wedding near by, the rooms were comfy and clean and the bathroom was lovely! We were welcomed by Carol and Bob who were so friendly and accommodating, they even gave us a lift to the wedding when we didn’t have one! They really went above and beyond to make our stay peaceful, stress free and lovely. Idyllic and romantic weekend get away with stunning grounds and a fab breakfast! Couldn’t recommend more, overall a lovely b&b.
My wife and I stayed here overnight whilst visiting family nearby. We arrived late on in the evening it is way out in the countryside but on getting closer you come across signs for the b and b. We were given the gate code earlier on a phone call, as when we were going to arrive the electric gate would be locked, on parking the car you are required to go around the building to reception, it was pitch black and no light in the car park until you round the corner. We were greeted and shown to our room, which was lovely, we had an adjacent bathroom, which in our opinion was a little dated and could do with a redecoration. After a pleasant night's sleep in lovely bedding we went to breakfast which was included in the price, the food was lovely and more than enough. The host were great very chatty and welcoming, we would recommend this place to others and we will stay again in the future. …
My girlfriend and I spent a night last week and what a fantastic little bed and breakfast it was! Great hosts, lively location and a nice breakfast in the morning. Very reasonable room rate and it felt like Bob and Carol loved what they did and were such accommodating welcoming hosts! Can’t wait to go back.
Just returned from a 4 night stay at Lodge House Farm, it is without a doubt one of the best bed and breakfast establishment I have ever stayed at. From The warmth of the welcome from Bob and Carol, to the beautifully decorated rooms and to top it off a great Breakfast to start your day. The setting is so tranquil you really don’t want to leave, we had fantastic weather which allowed us to sit in the the sun, or walk around the farm. It is very close to some really nice pubs serving very good food. This B&B is a gem if want a place to totally chill out this is the place.
We loved our stay at Lodge Farm - the tranquil environment, beautiful room, warm welcome and wonderful breakfast. We walked through the beautiful countryside to a local pub for a meal. Overall, highly recommended!
Stayed at this lovely farm house for one night, couldn’t find a single fault with the place, located between Luton and Hitchin, Welcoming friendly you will certainly want to come back. Breakfast was excellent.
What a lovely place, only 15 minutes from Luton Airport and you are in the beautiful countryside, and staying in a lovely old farmhouse, graced by horses and full of Victorian charm. The house is looked after by your hosts Bob and Carol, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and an excellent breakfast, a relaxing stay awaits and you will be counting the days until your return. Thank you, we had a fantastic weekend.
Stayed here for one night. I stayed in one of the more basic rooms but it was cosy, a good size and the bed was really comfortable. Whilst it didn't have an en suite it did have a private bathroom just next door which was impeccably clean. My parents stayed in the Superior Room which was beautiful. A huge room with a large ensuite with a shower and stand alone roll top bath. This room would work really well if you were travelling with a child as plenty of space for a travel cot and for them to have space to play. Breakfast was simple but delicious and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Worth noting that if you struggle with stairs then it might not be for you - there is a large staircase upto the bedrooms and no lift (as far as we could see).
I was really looking forward to staying at the hotel for a second time what I can say is that the grounds were beautiful however the experience that we had was completely the opposite to the first time we stayed at this B&B. The house was freezing as there was no heating on all day and all night. There was lots of animal hairs in the bedding which shows that the bedding was not washed recently. We thought things couldn’t get much worse until we heard the sound of a rat scaling the room and found droppings when we told the owner he claimed that it could not be a rat he then said it must’ve been a squirrel, confused!!! Can’t complain about the breakfast it was really good there were a lovely couple but after the Night that we had I can assure you I will never be staying or recommending this place again terrible night sleep!…
