Lovely friendly hotel and site over looking nice sandy beach.

Rooms are nice clean and beds are comfy. Delux rooms have picture window looking over the sea.

We have spent many hours sitting watching the boats and seals pass by.

Breakfast and evening meals are good.

Family and staff are lovely and can't do enough for you.

We made a last minute (2 days before) plan to visit North Norfolk to visit family, and The Clifftop Inn was available at a price we could afford.

We had a family room for 4, which was a bit squished - but we weren't spending all our time in the room so it didn't matter. We were happy enough to find somewhere with space at such short notice.

The place has a more traditional feel to it - which I loved. No massive arcades or high technology etc, but a chilled out place to stay. There was a gym there too, and we saw some people working out. We didn't join them though!

We were welcomed warmly, and the room was comfortable and clean. The king-size bed was wonderful, and the bathroom in good order with a nice shower.
Best of all, the beach was only a few steps away from the inn, so you could just pop to the beach to take a stroll. There is a gas plant nearby which had worried us a bit. However, you really have to look to be able to see it, and there is no noise. The views were lovely.
We all had dinner there one evening, and it was served quickly (but not too quickly). It was pub food sort of stuff. Fish and chips, surf and turf etc. It was nice. We had no complaints.
Breakfast was served next morning and there was plenty to choose from. It was good value and set us up for the day.
The only thing I would have liked was some AC. We visited during the heatwave, and it would have been perfect to have been able to come to a cold room to sleep. However, everything else was so lovely I would love to go again, and stay longer this time. Highly recommended.

Stayed in room 1 for one night and one night was enough for somewhere to crash it was OK.
Staff very friendly, room had a musty smell to it and wasent very big, bottom sheet on one bed had a stain on it.
Window was dirty and overlooked caravan park, no Seaview as stated on booking.
Breakfast was OK but looked at menu and choose big breakfast 2 of everything but was told we looked on wrong side we should of looked at hotel menu which was 1 of everything felt slightly cheated seeing as we paid extra for breakfast would of been cheaper to opt for no breakfast and pay 9.50 for big breakfast.

The location for this hotel / park was great, with views straight out to the beach. However, cleanliness was very poor, which at the moment is important. The communal areas were filthy, it didn't look like anyone had swept or hoovered in some time. Glass covered in finger / hand prints, carpet grimy and covered in dirt. We wiped over the surfaces in our room with cleaner from a local supermarket, cloths came up black with dirt. We had breakfast included in our room rate, but chose not to risk it.

1 night stay during our Coastal path route. Great location as it sits directly on the route. Room was lovely and clean with great views of the ocean. (Mod com USB point which was nice) The owners were friendly and bent over backwards to help in anyway they could. Owner is what makes the place and clearly is a grafter. Nice choice of food which was nice and hot and lovely, exactly what we needed walking all these miles. A real peaceful night sleep no noise apart from the sound of the ocean.
Pack lunch was made for us which was nice and helpful. Overall a really pleasant stay and would recommend for anyone walking the Coastal path.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and restaurant food is good. The hotel is on a static home site, though window from our room overlooked some roofs of the homes, you still had a good view of the beach and sea. The manageress made us feel welcome and had a lovely friendly manner towards all the guests. The weather wasn't brilliant but cannot blame them for this. Due to being off season, there was no evening entertainment, however this is available during the peak holiday season.

The room was in general good and tidy, didnt smell and had the usual stuff you expect.
However the reception area looked like it could do with alot of work and looked very tired , pretty much like the person on the reception. The corridors leading to our room all smelt like stale nappies and the smell didnt go throughout the stay. The carpets looked like they hadnt been hoovred in around three years and in general first impressions wasnt great.
Me and my partner both went downstairs to have a look at the menu in the actual Inn part and both felt very uneasy as we sat to look. It felt very much as a local Inn for local people.
We decided not too both with the food and went to the local takeaway

Popped in for Sunday lunch only.
Lovely family run restaurant who made us feel very at home and obviously care about their customers. The food portions were very generous .hot and freshly cooked. Loved the Yorkshire puds. Definatly home made.
Thank you

Booked this for one night to make up for an earlier anniversary break that was spoiled due to Covid. We were going to stay in Cromer but were glad we didn't as it was so busy there. Access and parking here is very easy. Check in was so simple and fast. The room was clean, functional and comfortable. There was a lovely sea view. We spent an afternoon on the sandy beach. Topped and tailed the evening with a drink in the bar. Service was good and beer tasty. Decided to walk to a nearby Chinese for dinner and enjoyed that as well. Had a good night's sleep as bed was comfy and it was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast next morning was excellent and provided very fast. Choice of breakfast items was amazing. Checkout was equally easy. A big thank you to all the staff, who are clearly working their socks off to provide a lovely stay for their guests. Thank you Cliff Top Inn! We will definitely be recommending you.
