Travellers' Choice
We are a small family run campsite, ideally situated in the Suffolk countryside. Equal distance from the market towns of Framlingham, with its castle and Halesworth, and only 30 minutes from anywhere along the heritage coast and its picturesque rivers and estuaries. Our luxury purpose built toilet and shower block has underfloor heating and adjustable temperature for the showers. We have, in addition 4 family rooms including a disabled/family wet room. Our wet weather facilities ensure that what ever the weather you can still enjoy yourself. There are 3 table-tennis tables, table football, and ride on toys in the Barn and the cart lodge has picnic tables, fridges and a freezer. We also have a outside playground. The pitches are spacious with plenty of room to play and there is also a separate field to play football, fly kites etc. In the evening you can enjoy sitting around a campfire, which we rent out with plenty of wood for a reasonable price.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful weekend of music and dancing at the Croftfest. A welcome break from usual stuff that irritates, can relax completely here and enjoy the music and food and company. Great weekend for all, weather was perfect which helped.

We've been here several times now camping with our family including grandchildren. The Croft is a beautiful site which is friendly and well run. Guy and Maria are so welcoming. The pitches are level and well maintained. The toilet and shower block is lovely with plenty of hot water. The washing up area is good with a washing machine and tumble dryer which can be used for £3 each. We love the old carriage building which has fridges and freezers for campers' use and plenty of picnic tables. Great for get togethers or enjoying the Friday evening BBQs. There's an area for playing ball games and the off lead dog area is very pretty. Our grandchildren love the play area and the barn which has table tennis and other indoor games. There are some nice pubs serving food in the surrounding villages. Definitely our favourite site!

We had a fabulous time at Croftfest, my third year there. The facilities are always immaculate despite being a busy site, the pitches well spaced, the owners are the friendliest. One of my favourite sites.

Back again for our fifth visit. We live over a 100 miles away so I think that probably says it all. Guy and Maria are so welcoming. The site is well maintained with great facilities. Lots for kids to do. Even though it’s not an adult only site you rarely see or hear from the kids because there is so much to occupy them. We love the Friday bbq which is great value. Two good pubs within a sensible walking distance.

A great location if wanting to explore mid Suffolk and the coast. The site is exceptionally tidy with well maintained pitches. The facilities are kept very clean. There is a Local shop and pubs in Laxfield which is a 2 mile walk or 10 mins in the car

Lovely 3 nights here. Great for kids with the park, the indoor barn with toys and the go karts. We liked the ping pong and football tables! Although we didn't eat the BBQ put on by the hosts, it was busy and looked very nice! Can't fault the few days we spent here 🙂

Lovely, peaceful, family friendly place with a relaxed atmosphere. Site rules are upheld and it's quiet overnight. We particularly liked the pitch flexibility: we swapped our booking from a tent to a campervan and awning last minute and it wasn't a problem at all: and the fire pits are fab! Our older kids also loved the on-site go karts...
