We are a small family run campsite, ideally situated in the Suffolk countryside. Equal distance from the market towns of Framlingham, with its castle and Halesworth, and only 30 minutes from anywhere along the heritage coast and its picturesque rivers and estuaries. Our luxury purpose built toilet and shower block has underfloor heating and adjustable temperature for the showers. We have, in addition 4 family rooms including a disabled/family wet room. Our wet weather facilities ensure that what ever the weather you can still enjoy yourself. There are 3 table-tennis tables, table football, and ride on toys in the Barn and the cart lodge has picnic tables, fridges and a freezer. We also have a outside playground. The pitches are spacious with plenty of room to play and there is also a separate field to play football, fly kites etc. In the evening you can enjoy sitting around a campfire, which we rent out with plenty of wood for a reasonable price.

This is a relaxed and quiet campsite. The owners have done a lot to increase its safety from Covid 19. the were freindly and helpful. Each pitch is large so it did not feel crowded.
The shower block is modern and there were penty of sanitiser points as well as reminders about taking care.

This is our favourite campsite in 15 years of motorhoming. It has everything for a perfect stay - beautiful well maintained site and facilities but relaxed and super friendly atmosphere, great location for visiting places, covered space for kids on wet days (but open enough to be accessible in these Covid times), big pitches, lots of space to play, wildlife (loved watching the baby swallows in the barn), fire pits (teenage sons' favourite thing to do) and delicious BBQ and breakfast croissants (to book) - definitley recommend. Maria and Guy are really lovely and friendly and their care and pride in the site really shows. We will be back next year definitely.

Just back from a lovely stay at The Croft, even the torrential rain and gale force wind didn’t put a dampener on it!! The owners Maria and Guy were so friendly and accommodating they made us feel very welcome and were always on hand to help, have a chat or offer advice. The pitches were huge and so well maintained!! Shower blocks and toilets were pristine and were cleaned throughout the night. One of our party has a phobia of spiders and she was very impressed with the absence of creepy crawlies!! Loved having the fire pit on the nights we had good weather and the ice cream van coming on site was a welcome addition. Can’t wait to return and hopefully bring the sun back with us!!! Thank you Maria and Guy!!!

We've only stayed on a few campsites, but this was by far the best we visited. Very welcoming owners and a great spot to camp. Our pitch was a great size for our large tent and shelter. The showers/toilets are kept very clean and are well maintained. The indoor washing up area has 3 large washing up sinks and a washing machine and tumble drier to 'rent'. Several camping fields separated off from one another is nice too, meaning you're not on top of everyone.
There is an indoor area with table tennis and large pedal go carts for the kids to use all around the campsite. There is also a large field left for playing on only as well as a small play area with wooden train, climbing frame and horizontal climbing wall. A large 'open' barn with picnic tables and 3 fridge freezers is great if the weather isn't. There is a BBQ (paid for) on a Friday night which was really good - plenty of food and well cooked. Proper cooked breakfast can also be bought on a Sunday as well as smaller pastries on other days.
The reception area allowed you to make your own tea/coffee, which was useful on our last morning. The owners were helpful and had recommendations for places to visit. Our dog was also happy as there is a fenced area where he could be let off the lead.
Would happily return.

We spent 3 fun nights at Croft campsite and loved it. The pitches were a good size, facilities spotless, owners were very welcoming and great with communication prior to our visit. The kids loved the go karts (and we did too!) and there was plenty of other play equipment for the kids to enjoy. The BBQ was a life safer on the Friday night after turning up after work and having to set up our tents in the wind and rain. The food was really good and very generous portions too. I would highly recommend this campsite and look forward to returning again.

Have been here before and love the location (quiet), the facilities (top notch), the pitches (spacious and well sheltered) and the friendly welcome. The site is neatly maintained but still feels like you are in nature (fancy picking blackberries from the hedge to add to your morning porridge? Yes please!)
The games barn was a bonus and would keep older children occupied on a rainy day, and the Cart Lodge with fridges and freezers, and picnic benches to cook and eat at - very useful and welcome on a rainy day too.
Luckily we were blessed with glorious sunshine for a mums only camp and loved it so much two of use came back the next weekend with our children.

We have visited the Croft now for five summers in a row, sometimes more then once per year. The facilities are the cleanest we’ve seen, toilet rolls are always stocked up, there has never been a single piece of litter around, and the children have an absolute ball with plenty for them to do. Maria and Guy, the owners, really go above and beyond to try and make the stay just perfect. The Friday night bbq and Sunday morning breakfasts are such good value for money and really great quality. We don’t have a single fault.
We even celebrated our wedding here recently with a large group of family and friends and Maria and guy were so accommodating to everything we wished for. The day couldn’t have gone any better and thanks to these guys, it was everything we could have ever hoped it would be.
Thanks for everything

+1
My Dad and I have visited for the last 3 years and enjoy camping here and exploring Suffolk. Maria and Guy are friendly and helpful and run a good campsite.
Shower rooms/toilets are always amazingly spotless and you don’t share the space with insects like other campsites I’ve been to. The buildings for the washrooms are completely secure. This is one of the main things that keeps me returning. I do not want to share a shower or toilet with spiders, daddy long legs and moths like I have at other places!
There’s also a fridge for storing drinks/milk etc and an electric kettle should you run out of camping gas and be in need of a cuppa.
There is a communal barn which has proved useful for us to both shelter from rain to eat and most recently the 40 degrees sun.
The pitches are a generous size and nice and flat (this is East Anglia!) and we’ll maintained.
The cherry on the icing is being able to hire a fire pit and feel like you’re authentically sitting round a campfire.

What a fantastic set-up the Croft Campsite have put together. This was our first family camping experience and we know we've been spoilt! We booked the bbq on our arrival which was generous, delicious and spot on. All we had to do was turn up with our own crockery, cutlery and drinks and everything else was sorted for us.
The site was excellent. Clean showers and toilets, a small wash room for washing up with hot running water, access to fridges and even a washing machine. The children's play area was excellent too.
We felt very welcomed, the pitches were immaculate and we loved our weekend away at Croft Campsite which was super friendly and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay. Would recommend whole heartedly and we would love to go back!

Guy and Maria are fantastic hosts and obviously care a lot about what they do. We particularly love the Friday night BBQ, such great value and a wonderful start to what is always a great weekend.
We usually hire the pool at Ubbeston Lodge for an hour for the kids and have eaten at the Huntingfield Arms a couple of times, both are highly recommended.
