I went for the weekend for a surprise for my boyfriend, the staff is really kind, I asked if they can put a small card with happy name day and they did it which was very nice of them. The hotel was very clean, the room was very clean and had everything needed, they looked exact as the photos. I suggest to bring your own hair dryer because the one in the room was not working but this could be a problem only in the room that we stayed but have it in mind. The only thing that I don’t like is that it is said that there is parking in the hotel and this was really important for me, but unfortunately you need to pay 10lv for each day to park your car in the hotel parking which is ridiculous for a guests in the hotel. I was looking for a nice hotel with SPA center and that’s why I chose this exact hotel but unfortunately the spa was nothing that much. The indoor pool was really cold, the sauna had the temperature that the pool was supposed to have, the steam bath was okey but the sauna was around 65-70t which for a sauna is not okey and also very small. As a Spa complex they should really pay more attention to their SPA. The food was nice and overall the hotel is calm and good for a weekend getaway but for the prices I expected more especially from the spa center.

Room Tip: The spa is average; you need to pay for parking and I recommend if you pay online to inform them...

Cons: Bad service where you need to wait 10-15 minutes to get something from the bar or get information from reception. The receptions personel is giving inconsistent information about available rooms and amenities in the rooms. Some of the rooms lack proper lighting. We wanted to spend 1 more night in the hotel and asked upfront if we book 1 more night whether we would need to change the room. We were assured that we are going to stay in the same rooms for this extra night but in the morning started to receive calls how we need to change rooms. Although for the same price the new rooms were smaller, did not have a sofa and a coffe table, the view was not towards the golf course but towards the street ans the balcony wqs smaller. Staff tried to play it as that there was a misunderstabding between us and them but later confirmed that the mistake was theirs. 1 out of the 3 Spa rooms was not working, leaving us with only a Sauna and a Steam Room. Water in the pool is not warm and may be too cold for some people. Pros: OK food The beds were comfortable One of the staff members was kind and honeat with us. Would not repeat a visit to the hotel.

We stayed at the Terra Complex in February half term in a large group made up of 7 other families from southwest London (kids ranged from 4 - 16 years). The hotel was perfect for so many of us. The rooms were spacious, clean and overlooked the golf course and snow capped mountains. The dining area was relaxed and intimate. We often sat together. The kids were pleased to have their own table on most evenings which they loved. The food was great and reasonably priced. The portions were also very large so although there wasn’t a specific kids menu you could easily share a meal. The bar area just outside the dining room was comfortable with a roaring fire and large sofas you could sink into whilst chatting and having a cocktail or 6 😬... Again the whole hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere so the kids playing nearby on the pool table, ping pong table etc were easily visible and could make some noise without upsetting anyone. There was a lovely pool and spa area which we all enjoyed using after a busy day on the slopes. We had a 2 mini buses organised that drove us to the top of the gondola every morning and picked us up at 4pm every afternoon. I would definitely recommend doing this to avoid the gondola queue at the bottom of the mountain. In summary, this is a perfect place to stay with friends and family for a reasonably priced ski holiday in the February half term. The hotel has everything needed for a fun ski holiday for both parents and kids. My son celebrated his 11th birthday there and it was easy to organise an amazing birthday cake, balloons etc etc through reception. They even left him a box of chocolates and balloons on his bed which was a lovely touch. We would and will definitely head back to the Terra Complex in the future with friends and family. We have skied in France 5 times before with the kids and my eldest said that this was his favourite skiing holiday by far. I think the kids and I all appreciated the wide, tree lined slopes of Bansko too. Thank you Terra Complex.

We had a great time staying with a group of family friends at the TERRA Complex in Feb half term. Service was excellent, we were met by the shuttle bus at the airport and taken to the hotel where the (in-hotel) ski rental place was staying open late specially to ensure we were all kitted out for skiing the next morning. Shuttle took us to the top station each morning which is crucial for half term week in Bansko to avoid the gondola queues! Dinner in the hotel was great, highly recommend the a la carte menu; pork chops, satch and mixed grill were all excellentvas is the selection of Bulgarian wines. The bar is a great place to wind down after a day's skiing and drinks are very reasonably priced. Our kids loved the pool as well as access to ping pong, table football and pool table. Didn't try any of the spa treatments as our focus was on skiing...

Stopped here in February this year as part of family skiing holiday. We were in a very comfortable three bedroom apartment with views over the golf course to the mountains. All staff were very welcoming and helpful . Large airy foyer and bar areas where adults could relax and children play. We used their minibus airport transfer from Sofia and the regular transfers to and from slopes and Bansko. Spa area has a good sized pool and massage treatments available .We ate from the a la carte menu mostly which and couple of nights we had the buffet which would have sufficed for the grandchildren every night really .Hotel’s own useful App gives good info and idea of what you can expect in terms of services, menus drinks and prices.

We have just spent 9 days at Terracomplex with our 2 children (6 & 10) and had a great holiday. The hotel accommodation was clean and very spacious, with all the facilities you would need and the hotel staff were, without exception extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was a good size and very nice after a days skiing. We have always previously skied in France, Austria or Switzerland but would definitely return to Bansko and Terracomplex again in the future.

We just returned from a wonderful stay in Bulgaria at the Terra Complex Hotel! The hotel has a breathtaking view over the golf course and the mountains, the rooms are spacious, clean and with comfortable beds. The hotel is fully equipped with a great big pool (nice warm temperature), a hot tub, steam room, sauna and spa services (we recommend you ask for the light massage 😉). There is also a games room with billiards, ping pong and lots of other games. We ate most evenings at the hotel and the food was delicious as well as the wine, we never realised how amazing Bulgarien wine was!! It was incredibly convenient to have the ski rental in house as well as a shuttle service to the slopes! The best part was the great service we received from the owners who had their eye on everything and made sure that everyone was taken care of! Thank you for such a memorable and fantastic week!

We stayed at Terra for our skiing trip in Feb 2020. It was a fantastic spot with great amenities and friendly staff. We were with several other families and there were nice open common areas for all the kids to play together and keep themselves entertained, which allowed the parents to have some time together also! A great place which we would highly recommend!

I've been here with my girlfriend and 8 more friends for a ski holiday between 27 January and 2 February 2020. This Hotel is a great choice for a group looking to relax and ski at the same time. The Hotel does look pretty nice and it has a rather modern feeling to it. There are many great things to say about it and I will start with: The Location: The Hotel is in a quiet area outside Bansko. We we're very happy about this because we avoided the noise from the more touristic area. And don't worry about transportation, because the Hotel offers free transportation To and From the ski slopes. You just have to respect the scheduled trips. The Room: We actually got a free upgrade from a Double Room in one of the Annex buildings so we are very thankful for that. We were very pleased about this because the annex buildings are not internally connected to the main building where you have the restaurant and spa. (there is the main hotel building and 2 more annex buildings so be careful when booking). This means that you should take a walk outside to get from the annex buildings to the main one and this could be annoying, especially when going to the Spa. The room itself was very spacious and clean. You will probably have more than enough space to put all your things. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The room temperature was on the warm side so don't worry about freezing in there (sometimes it was maybe too warm). Our room had a nice view at the mountain, so I'd suggest you ask for one of these rooms if possible. The scenery is pretty relaxing. One downside was that we had a room on 3rd floor and we didn't have access to a balcony. However, the rooms from 2nd floor had one, so also keep on eye on this aspect if you need a balcony to smoke or something. We didn't need one, so we weren't bothered at all by this. What I didn't like about the room was probably the squishy mattress which could have been better. The Restaurant: I will start with the breakfast. As some of the reviews around here say, there isn't much diversity for breakfast. However, the choices that you get should be enough if you're not that picky. You will have Eggs, Bacon, Sausages, Cheese, Salami, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Yogurt, Cereals, Pastry, Fruits, Gem, Chocolate Dip, and that's probably 90% of what you'll see there. Considering we were there for skiing, we didn't mind the lack of food diversity that much. I personally would have preferred also having less fatty choices. All in all, the breakfast is ok, but don't expect it to be ground breaking. For Dinner however, we were very impressed by the variety of the A-la-Carte Menu (you can check it Online). I definitely suggest you skip the included dinner and stick to A-la-Carte (meaning you will pay for what you eat right there). I recommend you try the Lamb Kebabs, the Sachets and the Chicken Royal. Mostly all choices are ok, but these ones have been the best (group decision). The prices we're also very affordable for a Hotel Restaurant so don't worry about spending a fortune there. The Spa: Another very nice thing about this Hotel was the included Spa. I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but the Spa area is very nice. And we were fortunate enough to be there during a period without many clients. The Hot Jacuzzi and the Humid Sauna were the best thing to do after a day on the ski slopes. Having this included in the same price really made our holiday much better. We didn't try the massages or other paid services though. The Hotel Staff: Well this is a mixed bag. Some of the people were very nice to us. Some of them actually had good English skills, but others didn't understand much English and they tended to be a bit rude at times. Giving the fact that the country's economy isn't that great, I'm not really judging the people for being a bit on the ruder side. I wished they were all happier, but we are all human after all and we can't fake happiness when our financial status is probably worse than 99% of the tourists that come there. Entertainment: Apart from the Spa, the Hotel also has Billiards, Table Tennis, Air Hockey Table, Pinball and a play room for the kids. We had some fun playing some table tennis one night, and it was about 5BGN which was more than affordable. Overall, considering the price of the room and all the included services and the quality of the food I'd say that Terra complex is a good choice for a group of friends looking to go in Bansko for skiing.
