I went for the weekend for a surprise for my boyfriend, the staff is really kind, I asked if they can put a small card with happy name day and they did it which was very nice of them. The hotel was very clean, the room was very clean and had everything needed, they looked exact as the photos. I suggest to bring your own hair dryer because the one in the room was not working but this could be a problem only in the room that we stayed but have it in mind.
The only thing that I don’t like is that it is said that there is parking in the hotel and this was really important for me, but unfortunately you need to pay 10lv for each day to park your car in the hotel parking which is ridiculous for a guests in the hotel. I was looking for a nice hotel with SPA center and that’s why I chose this exact hotel but unfortunately the spa was nothing that much. The indoor pool was really cold, the sauna had the temperature that the pool was supposed to have, the steam bath was okey but the sauna was around 65-70t which for a sauna is not okey and also very small. As a Spa complex they should really pay more attention to their SPA. The food was nice and overall the hotel is calm and good for a weekend getaway but for the prices I expected more especially from the spa center.

We stayed at the Terra Complex in February half term in a large group made up of 7 other families from southwest London (kids ranged from 4 - 16 years). The hotel was perfect for so many of us. The rooms were spacious, clean and overlooked the golf course and snow capped mountains. The dining area was relaxed and intimate. We often sat together. The kids were pleased to have their own table on most evenings which they loved. The food was great and reasonably priced. The portions were also very large so although there wasn’t a specific kids menu you could easily share a meal. The bar area just outside the dining room was comfortable with a roaring fire and large sofas you could sink into whilst chatting and having a cocktail or 6 😬... Again the whole hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere so the kids playing nearby on the pool table, ping pong table etc were easily visible and could make some noise without upsetting anyone. There was a lovely pool and spa area which we all enjoyed using after a busy day on the slopes. We had a 2 mini buses organised that drove us to the top of the gondola every morning and picked us up at 4pm every afternoon. I would definitely recommend doing this to avoid the gondola queue at the bottom of the mountain. In summary, this is a perfect place to stay with friends and family for a reasonably priced ski holiday in the February half term. The hotel has everything needed for a fun ski holiday for both parents and kids. My son celebrated his 11th birthday there and it was easy to organise an amazing birthday cake, balloons etc etc through reception. They even left him a box of chocolates and balloons on his bed which was a lovely touch. We would and will definitely head back to the Terra Complex in the future with friends and family. We have skied in France 5 times before with the kids and my eldest said that this was his favourite skiing holiday by far. I think the kids and I all appreciated the wide, tree lined slopes of Bansko too.

Thank you Terra Complex.

We had a great time staying with a group of family friends at the TERRA Complex in Feb half term. Service was excellent, we were met by the shuttle bus at the airport and taken to the hotel where the (in-hotel) ski rental place was staying open late specially to ensure we were all kitted out for skiing the next morning. Shuttle took us to the top station each morning which is crucial for half term week in Bansko to avoid the gondola queues!

Dinner in the hotel was great, highly recommend the a la carte menu; pork chops, satch and mixed grill were all excellentvas is the selection of Bulgarian wines. The bar is a great place to wind down after a day's skiing and drinks are very reasonably priced. Our kids loved the pool as well as access to ping pong, table football and pool table. Didn't try any of the spa treatments as our focus was on skiing...

Cons:
Bad service where you need to wait 10-15 minutes to get something from the bar or get information from reception.

The receptions personel is giving inconsistent information about available rooms and amenities in the rooms.

Some of the rooms lack proper lighting.

We wanted to spend 1 more night in the hotel and asked upfront if we book 1 more night whether we would need to change the room. We were assured that we are going to stay in the same rooms for this extra night but in the morning started to receive calls how we need to change rooms.

Although for the same price the new rooms were smaller, did not have a sofa and a coffe table, the view was not towards the golf course but towards the street ans the balcony wqs smaller.

Staff tried to play it as that there was a misunderstabding between us and them but later confirmed that the mistake was theirs.

1 out of the 3 Spa rooms was not working, leaving us with only a Sauna and a Steam Room.

Water in the pool is not warm and may be too cold for some people.

Pros:

OK food
The beds were comfortable
One of the staff members was kind and honeat with us.

Would not repeat a visit to the hotel.

We just returned from a wonderful stay in Bulgaria at the Terra Complex Hotel! The hotel has a breathtaking view over the golf course and the mountains, the rooms are spacious, clean and with comfortable beds. The hotel is fully equipped with a great big pool (nice warm temperature), a hot tub, steam room, sauna and spa services (we recommend you ask for the light massage 😉). There is also a games room with billiards, ping pong and lots of other games. We ate most evenings at the hotel and the food was delicious as well as the wine, we never realised how amazing Bulgarien wine was!! It was incredibly convenient to have the ski rental in house as well as a shuttle service to the slopes! The best part was the great service we received from the owners who had their eye on everything and made sure that everyone was taken care of! Thank you for such a memorable and fantastic week!

We stayed in a room in the Rodopi building, was an OK room. Bed and decor a little tired, with two beds pushed together rather than one bed one of the two beds was in worse condition than the other. Views of the mountains and golf course behind the hotel were good. The offerings in the main building of the spa, bar & restaurant are what made this hotel better than average. The pool and spa areas were very nice to come back to after a days skiing. Set menu as part of half board seemed better than when the buffet was on offer when trade picked up on the weekend. Timings of shuttle back from Bansko seemed to vary from what was advertised.

Stopped here in February this year as part of family skiing holiday. We were in a very comfortable three bedroom apartment with views over the golf course to the mountains. All staff were very welcoming and helpful . Large airy foyer and bar areas where adults could relax and children play. We used their minibus airport transfer from Sofia and the regular transfers to and from slopes and Bansko.
Spa area has a good sized pool and massage treatments available .We ate from the a la carte menu mostly which and couple of nights we had the buffet which would have sufficed for the grandchildren every night really .Hotel’s own useful App gives good info and idea of what you can expect in terms of services, menus drinks and prices.

We had a two-day family break there, at Christmas in a really spacious two-room apartment. We enjoyed the extra space and the view to the mountains. We paid for half board so we ate dinner as well as breakfast. The hotel was clean, the service was good but the food was always cold no matter the time. It's a pity because the food was fresh and well prepared. The desserts were not varied and a bit disappointing. Christmas meal which was supposed to be special, actually was not. The pool was clean, at good temperature but with too much chlorine (it smelled more than usual at least). Overall, a nice stay.

Just came back from Terra Complex. Kids loves the warm water in pool, and kids area. We have 1 bedroom aparment in main building, with view on mountain and golf area, and warm all the time. Staff was nice and always with smile. Plenty of food, every day different dishes. Bus shuttle on time to and from Bansko gondola station. Book over a travel agency, and our choise war right. See you next year :)

We have just spent 9 days at Terracomplex with our 2 children (6 & 10) and had a great holiday. The hotel accommodation was clean and very spacious, with all the facilities you would need and the hotel staff were, without exception extremely friendly and helpful.
The pool was a good size and very nice after a days skiing.
We have always previously skied in France, Austria or Switzerland but would definitely return to Bansko and Terracomplex again in the future.

They have a closed parking place with security system, but it’s charged. You can choose that you pay a bit more but your car is in safe, or you leave it on the street and hope that nothing will happen. Actually we just stopped on the street, in front of the hotel and nothing happened with the car. Maybe we were only lucky.

We either ate in the hotel or went into Bansko. I'm not aware of any restaurants within walking distance. Easy to get into Bansko though. Let me know if you have any further questions? x

Hi Amy, All the facilities are placed in the main building (restaurants, lounge bar, spa, kids area), so if you want to go for breakfast, you'll have to go out in the snow first to come to the main building. The difference between the standard room and the apartments, is that the app are bigger, because there is kitchen and a living room
