This hotel is pretty much everything what I could ask from a hotel: clean, quiet, nice foods, great dinners, nice breakfast, big indoor swimming hall connected to the hotel via hallway, nice views, friendly staff and good location for all activities. Also bikes are at guests' disposal and they are good for touring in the village area. I love also...

Set in a lovely valley with great views of the Dachstein range. This hotel is quite modern and very well designed and fitted. The chef and staff are professional and accomplished and the hotel is spotlessly clean and well managed with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food has beautiful, fresh, local ingredients of top quality and the limited menu...

Spent a very happy 5 days at this friendly hotel. Staff were pleasant, helpful and always seemed to be smiling. Food was good, the afternoon offering of tea/coffee and cakes on the terrace being a nice touch. Went on several hikes accompanied by guide Karen who was excellent and judged the pace well according to the group composition. Attached swimming...

Just spent a delightful week in probably the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are genuinely happy to be working there and serving you and it shows - 10 out of 10 on all counts....rooms and facilities were first class and spotless, nothing was too much trouble and food was superb ! We had four guided walks,...

We spent 3 days at this hotel and unfortunately had some bad experiences during our stay, which made us sure not visit this hotel anymore. Quality of accommodation and food is fine. Nothing special, but standard for this rate. Also location is very good. We wanted to visit fitness center, which they offer - we are always choosing only hotel...

We stayed in the Matschner - a lovely base from which to explore the Dachstein area. The walks that Inntravel provided were all good. Everything is very clear, well marked and interesting. My husband thought a guide to their difficulty on an individual basis would be good. Although I was happy with simply distance and a description. We particularly enjoyed...

First a warning: however much you walk or mountain bike, you will probably go home heavier than when you started. The generous buffet breakfasts, including omelettes freshly made to order by a charming lady, afternoon cakes and four course dinner are just too good to ignore! Some have suggested the dining room is a bit gloomy - well it doesn't...

We stayed for 4 nights on half board whilst hiking in the area. All staff we encountered were super helpful and a big thank you to Stephanie, nothing was too much trouble. Introducing themselves at reception was a lovely touch. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included juiced carrots and other fruits. Dinner was also very good quality, soups were...

Spent a week for a walking holiday. Situated in extremely pretty village with many walks nearby. The bedroom was comfortable and clean and the owners and staff very pleasant. However the dining room was like a conference hall and pretty dark and dreary. The week we were there only about 8 tables were being used each day and the menu...

Dear Grinda, thank you very much for your feedback and for your comments! I'm really sorry that you have catched this quiet week! But anyway it shouldn't happen, that you feel uncomfortable due to the atmosphere in our dining hall. We will definitely discuss this topic at our next staff meeting. I'm sure that we can make it better in...
