We stayed a night in this wonderfully located hotel right at the heart of Putuoshan. I heard that this used to be a much more expensive hotel but now their rates are reasonable. The dinner was SUPERB!, if I may say so. Simply delicious...but the rooms are another story. After going through a claustrophobic maze of halls, we finally got... More

There haven’t been any reviews of this hotel since 2015, and a lot of things seem to have changed. The rooms are in very good shape, quiet and spacious, old carpeting has been replaced with wood laminated floor and the bathrooms are nice and clean. There is also a kettle so you can make your own tea. The location is... More

Stayed: April 28-30 2015 With: Family/ Friends We visit Mt. Putuo every other year, and we opt to stay in this hotel every time. From what I have experienced, its an old hotel, "recently renovated" but hardly looks the latter. It is basically the type of hotel that you just sleep in, after the tours and such. It has free... This is not a very good hotel and the price you pay to stay is way too expensive. No, breakfast is not included. Yes, service was poor. This hotel is situated in a touristy locale but it should not be making a killing on tourists with high prices and low quality. There may be other choices on the island for... More

This hotel is around 10 minutes stroll to the Puji Temple. (One of the "major temples" in Putuoshan). The hotel is clean, the restaurant offers good food. Breakfast options are plenty with choices for vegetarian and non-vegetarians. Front desk staff can manage some basic English but can not communicate weather outlook for the day. Rooms are fairly decent, clean sheets,... More

Location wose, this hotel is not very near the major temple, (puji temple), but takes a good 10-15 minute walk. The hotel is very clean and the staffs a re courteous. They have nice rooms as well. I like how they have different design for the toothbrushes and slippers for easy identification. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel.... More

We stayed here one night in February 2014. The room was big and bright but starting to show its age. Staff tried to be helpful, but were not very knowledgeable about local tourist information. Overall, this is a reasonable mid-range option in a somewhat remote location.

Stayed overnight while visiting the temples. Booked a big bed bedroom which was on the 3rd floor. The inroom music if any was not on. Only three places to plug your electrical equipment - at the bathroom, the kettle point and hidden behind a seat by the window. Wifi is free but using the computer in the room is 20rmb/day.... More

Stayed in for a night during our Putuoshan visit, the hotel is trully 4* hotel. The room is nice and clean. In front of the hotel you can easily found shops & restaurants. To move around the island you can only take the island shuttle, outside transportation are not allowed to enter the island.

Very nice well maintained rooms, clean and comfy. Good shower, great location. The receptionist struggle to speak any English, they could not help us with a guide or tourism advise which is disappointing.
